I'm a week out also. I was able to do ice chips first then very little water. I did good until yesterday I started craving food. I'm trying to fight the feeling. Just have to break the habit of wanting certain foods. I didn't have a bowel movement till yesterday. Try more water. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had my surgery on the 30th. All went well. My doctor also fixed a hernia that I had. It didn't show up on my pre op x rays. I had the usual gas pains that everyone gets but it's subsiding pretty much now. I was 288 at surgery I'm now 272. I feel great. I'm not hungry and I'm getting liquids down slowly. Yes, it' definitely worth it. I' doing good now. I' going to go full liquid tomorrow until surgery.

I was scheduled for the 16th. It was pushed to the 30th because I blew it on the pre op diet. I ate stuff I don't even eat believing I might not have a chance to eat it after the surgery.
