I just had my consultation appointment with him this morning. Went great! Just wondering if anyone else on here has used him.

I am excited and nervous! What should I expect? What questions do they ask etc??

The surgeon that I am going to has a dietician in his office. I also have to do the 6 month diet visits. Might check with your surgeon and see if they have someone in their office or someone that work closely with.

Humm that is a thought. I did have a doctor there that I discussed weight loss and the procedure with. Thanks! I will look into that.

My husband just changed jobs and we have moved from CO to IL. I have been researching and preparing myself for surgery for almost 2 years. With my husbands insurance in CO I did not have to have the 6 month pre-op diet but now in IL his insurance is requiring it. I meet all of the other qualifications for approval just have to do the 6 months. I am so bummed. I was hoping to get the sleeve done ASAP I am so bad at waiting!!! Aaahhhh! Any words of encouragement?? Or any ways around the 6 month requirement...
