Oh Lordy! I’m a week post op and I’ve never looked at food or thought of food like I have in the last month! I want everything. Lol. I actually skipped my last protein shake because I was so upset I couldn’t have food. I was no in the mood to drink it. And I hate the routine. I’ve began to get moody because I can’t have a nice piece of meat. It’s so hard my craving is strong I can’t wait until I move on to my puréed diet. Some facts are I can’t drink more than 16 oz a day without being full, I can’t drink my 8oz protein shake only 4oz. And I can’t tolerate my vitamins without wanting to gag and throw them up. My nurse told me to wait a few days to continue taking the vitamins as long as I’m hydrated. Feel hydrated but I am not taking 64oz a day!
