I had lap band surgery in Febuary 2008. The tubing failed in 2012 and I had it repair and then worked really hard to get the 20+ lbs that I gained back off. Then the band failed again ~September 2014. Started gaining weight even though I had difficulty eating. By January 2015 I had gained another 20+ lbs. I met with a bariatric surgeron and we discussed removing the lap band and revising it to a sleeve. I am just 2 days post surgery.
