Newbie on my Journey ... did you keep your journey a secret
Bigman12345 replied to Nikki50's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I told everyone right the start, screw it they don’t understand or if they pick on me or whatever, this is for me aNd it doesn’t matter what they think, my time and my journey, almost everyone had someone they knew who did it or had a story and most were either cool with it or interested themselves, share it, what harm is there? -

I threw up about 2 months out, first time trying fish after the surgery, i felt way better after I did, it wasn’t hard at all and I didn’t have pain after. I knew it took me almost 9 months before I could burp properly though.

Update, all is good, the skin definitely caught up (stretched) with it and no more pain👍👍

This is a little embarrassing, but as I have lost weight, without the extra pudge I’ve noticed that my ol boy is bigger, at least less is hiding and seems it, lol, but I have a new problem, now that the fat has come down and my skin is stretched more when I get erect I notice when I have sex I tear a lil sometimes because it seems like my penis is bigger and the skin has nowhere to come from now, I’m running out of skin, lol Are there any other men dealing with this same problem?

Why is ibuprofen a no no?
Bigman12345 replied to polly...'s topic in GLP-1 & Other Weight Loss Medications (NEW!)
Didn’t know that ibuprofen was bad for me, thanks for the info -
I’m feeling the same, I’m a year and a month out and lost 140 pounds but it has stalled, I’m feeling a little lack of energy, a little more hungry, and am making poor choices of food. Here to talk if needed.

It will pass, then when you eat it will only take a couple bites to feel full, you will soon realize the only thing that you will regret about this entire journey is that you didn’t do it sooner, good luck, hang in there

I’m 7 months out and 120 pounds down, I have been sitting at this weight , up and down a few pounds, for roughly 2 weeks now, the thing is I really don’t eat much but now that I can it’s hard to put things down when I start to get full, until it’s too late and I feel like crap, has anyone gotten to this point?
-
Lol thanks everyone, I’ll do my best to be better

I’m 43, male, rny in Jan this year and I have lost 120 pounds so far, this has been the best thing I have ever done for myself, wish I did it sooner. I feel the same as thatgirl2121, I feel my youth was wasted and I can only imagine what my life would have been like if I did it sooner, many missed things Because of my weight. And the benefits of the surgery?! Let me tell you something men, if there is any reason to get it done it’s the improvements in men’s health!! Lol
