Girl! If your pregnant congratulations! If you are mentally ready for surgery just keep a good healthy diet with everything in moderation. You can still safely diet and exercise while pregnant, it may be more challenging but it is very possible and healthy for you and the baby. I have 4 little ones and with my first pregnancy I had only gained 11lbs. My son was 6.5 lbs. I actually lost weight the first 5 months of pregnancy. Just take a test and see if you worrying for the right reason. What's meant to be will be! Good luck. -
Any January 2018 Sleevers?

If you would like we can keep in touch! I didn't have a last meal (I should have). Well like a good friend told me, I have had many good meals, but I think one last one is ok. Well I am 4 days post op. On surgery day I was like 241, yesterday I was 232, I just weighed myself 15 min ago and the scale was wavering between 229 and 230. I haven't seen 229 since 2016, when I was working out hard core. The first 2 days after surgery were horrible for me, I had to go back to the hospital for dehydration. Just be prepared for the worst feeling ever of nausea, its like being pregnant but worst for a good 24_36 hours. My kids and husband were all freaking out. I was just upset with myself because I was following the doctors diet to a T.. except I wasn't able to keep anything down. I wish you lots of luck, positive thoughts and my prayers! The key to the gas pain is Maalox or Miralax, gas strips didn't help me. The maalox helps with the bm too! -
Any January 2018 Sleevers?

I was sleeved on Jan 11. My starting weight on surgery day was 242, now 4 days post op I am 231. That's right I am down 11 lbs. I was in the hospital one night however on Saturday night I wasn't feeling good so my husband rushed me to to the hospital! I was dehydrated, after 14 hours in emergency I felt much better. Today I am feeling so much better. The hardest part the first couple days is keeping water, meds, and liquids down. The gas pains and the sore stomach is painful, but it gets better, just remember it gets worst before it gets better unless you are lucky! I have had 4 kids and day 1-3 post op felt like death. Thank God that is in the past. Looking forward to shedding the pounds. -

Hey New4me2, I'm on the 11th too! Today is my last day to eat. I'm doing 2 protein shakes and a salad, tomorrow is clear liquids. Down 8 lbs. Not much but I wasn't required to lose anything. -

Any January 2018 Sleevers?

Sending Prayers!!!! I'm being sleeved on the eleventh. Starting to get nervous! I have 4 kids under 10 and a husband. I know I'm in good hands. I didn't have a preop diet, I think because I have a lower BMI 39, but starting tomorrow I am going to do a liquid diet till Wednesday. Then I will go on a clear liquid diet. I have been looking forward to this day since I finished my Option classes through Kaiser in July. A few days to go!!! I will try to document that day so i can help others. I have been reading so much trying to be prepared. -

Hello Everyone, I am scheduled to be sleeved on January 11. I'm nervous and excited. I was supposed to get sleeved in September, however due to my surgeon requested blood work, they found a tumor, and that had to be removed first. Anyways I feel blessed and happy to be able to begin this new year with a real weight loss goal for once. Every year I make the goal to lose, but this time I am confident I have the tools.
