    Thanks, smgallop! It sounds like so far you have no regrets. I live alone so now I'm concerned about not having anyone with me for the first day or so. My doctor did tell me to expect to be out of work for a week and I'm going in on Monday, the 21st so I'm guessing I'll be back to work on the 28th. How bad is your incision where the port is? Painful, big, small, hardly noticable?

    Hi everyone...

     

    I'm new to the site and 2 weeks shy of getting LB surgery. I must say I'm a bit scared reading all the posts - between the claims of the port showing and hurting to the dumping syndrome. Are you all happy with the decision on going thru with the surgery???
