 I had surgery May 2014 and I am doing super.  I had the Duodenal Switch by Dr. LeGrand Belnap.  I started at 400 lbs and I am now at 173 lbs.  I got down to 160 but seem to have evened out at 175 range.  I still need/want skin removed on stomach and need boob lift (ha!)... but that is not priority.  I feel so much better already I am not going to complain.  I have found my sweetie.... been super active and have a full life that I was not getting at my 400 lb body weight.  Not perfect, have food issues and typical issues with this surgery due to digestive issues with food.  But I find this 3+ years later, I am still learning and working at my physical self.... my mental/emotional self is very content.
