I started this process in jan, as of the first appt the 90 day count down per my insurance requirement started, march 6th is my pre op appt, the list of blood tests ex rays edg ekg all pre reqs all were supposed to be completed by this date. Im hoping some good news comes out of tomorrow. So anxious for this change.

How long is tge healing process? I know every body is different when it comes to how we deal with pain, healing. I risk losing my job if im out a month to heal, any experience with how long it took to get back to work, i work in an office setting, small amount of going up stairs. Ive been with this company for 7 yrs, the issue is that when i take a leave they eould need someone to cover my duties, and my fear is that they stick with whoever they replace me with and i come back to not being needed or hours cut, its a dear due to some internal changes happening and the need og my presence being one of em. I am having second guesses on the surgery, im definitely scared, had the evaluation with psyche and the idea of having to check in for the rest of my life, check on my stomach. Changing what you eat, what nutrients are needed on a daily basis. The fear of my stomach getting smaller and not being able to enjoy a meal like im use to. Is it temporary? How you drink liquids? I wish i could lose the weight on my own, this surgery will def save my life and get me to a weight that i will be comfortable in exercising. I do love to exercise, with my sleep apnea and weight it makes it dificult to even have the energy. Needed to vent and always looking for support. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

You shouldnt worry too muxh about it, if a doc says to lose it before surgery trust its in your best interest, my doc told me 20 lbs in 3 months, wants to see how motivated i am. Plus its to make the surgery go smoother Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

My insurance requires only 3 months before i can be cleared for my gastric sleeve, 3 months to lose 20lbs per docs orders and get eveything else done.. so excited and scared Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
