Catchmi, one more thing, sounds like your set up for home sounds pretty good. I also like the Nectar ice tea mix- lots of protein, and the Special K tea you add to water that gives you about 5g. protein that you may as well get in while your'e trying to stay hydrated. Peace.

Catchmi! Congrats on surgery! If you check board again before you go, you might be sure to have a robe to wear for going on those little walks starting a few hours after surgery. I was blessed to have hubby there who walked with me last Tuesday night after my 4/22 surgery. We even took a short walk about 2:30 in the morning after I ws awake from them coming in to check my vitals. I bet you're going to do GREAT! Best wihes for a great surgery & recovery.

Funny, the older I get, the younger 60 looks! I'm 59, my sister is picking me up in 3 hours, and I will be on my way to the hospital to be banded! Hooray! I've already lost 9 pounds in the last 2 weeks, cutting back and trying out protein drinks, etc. You young "dogs" out there are not the only kids on the block who can change their lives for the better. :huh2: Pat, Cat, and Cutie. Hang in there, we're almost there! I'm not required to do the 2week fast, but simply liquids the day before surgery. However, from all I've read, I decided yesterday, in my quiet time, that it was time for ME to do my part in this and stop binging and start eating right. Saying good-bye to all junk food, concentrating on the protein and water. Getting a little nervous, but more excited! Pressing on to April 22nd! Peace. Jeanie

:thumbs_up: Greetings, All! I am still new at this- just joined this network over the week-end and still learning my way around. After months of getting the paperwork straightened out along with the "just one more test" routine, my lap band surgery is scheduled for two weeks from today! April 22. Yahoo!!! It is great reading about other's experiences. I'm grateful to be able to learn from others. Keep posting the progress and the problems along the journey. Jeanie
