Hello all, I've been debating on the sleeve vs bypass for many years. My younger brother got the sleeve and he's doing amazing. He stated his surgeon told him the bypass was too risky for his bmi. So, with my brother taking the plunge he has inspired me to get a hold of my weight and not let it control me any longer. I haven't been to a class or seminar yet, but honestly I'm terrified of what people will say. Like I took the easy way out or or you don't need surgery. Idk if I should be thinking bypass or sleeve? I'm writing this to get any pros and cons and really just any helpful insights. Did anyone's spouse have issue with them getting surgery?
