My pre-surgery diet is full liquid for 2 weeks. My food options are: protein shakes, skim milk, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, tomato or cream soups, applesauce, sugar-free pudding, sugar-free jello, and broth. And lots and lots of water or zero-calorie/no-sugar beverages. No caffeine. Very low sugar. I need to do at least 60g of protein and 1000 calories or less. Last night I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries for dinner. I felt like a prisoner enjoying their last meal! Haha!!
