Depression and Gastric Bypass
Real California April replied to shsa_rod's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
No obsticals. Everyone is required to do a psych eval before surgery in my health system. So as long as you're honest with yourself and your doctors then you shouldn't have any problems. SW: 366 CW: 340 GW1: 200 RNY Dec 18, 2017! -
Vitamin Patches
Real California April replied to jmangino's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I saw them and considered trying. Sometimes the multi I take is just too sweet Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -

Has anyone tried those protein cookies? They're expensive as you know what so I doubt I could binge on em. But maybe for when I crave a cookie Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -

Real California April replied to Teri dolan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes omg yes. But don't forget to drink. I'm attached to an Iv pole at the moment because I slept too much and didn't get enough fluid [emoji26] Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -

Missing kidney after surgery
Real California April replied to EW11211's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I went through a major hospital system and they were originally going to release me 1 day post op. I only stayed because pain wasn't controlled after they removed my Iv. It's a major teaching hospital so maybe we don't always have to stay? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -
Yeah but fleas don't stick to one area. From my understanding, multiple types of flea can carry plague. Also fleas don't discriminate. They will bite and live on just about any mammal and Europeans brought Pets with them. It's not like they slapped Frontline on them before coming. Recently some fleas carrying plague were found on Squirrels near my area. Yep beware of squirrels. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

What initially held you back (other than insurance/cost)

First I was a food addict and wasn't ready to face the issues that got me big in the first place. Second, I was a vet tech and anesthesia freaked me out Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -
OK Ladies, kinda embarrasing question for you all
Real California April replied to Adina's_Journey's topic in The Gals' Room
I have been waiting for someone to ask lol! I have Straight pubes for some reason and they sometimes stick to pads. Pulling undies off resulted in unwanted hair plucking. I considered shaving before surgery because aunt flow was expected a few days later. I just forgot and, Lucky for me, aunt flow didn't show! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -

On the fence about joining a gym
Real California April replied to Sosewsue61's topic in Fitness & Exercise
It depends on what you're looking for. I joined a gym because they offer fun classes like glow aerobics. They also have child care which does fun stuff with the kids to keep them active. Best way to knock a 2 year old out Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app -
