I was banded on May 7th. Patti

I was banded on the 7th. I haven't had any problems drinking. I have an 8 oz protein shake for breakfast and soft food like yogurt, mashed pototoes, SF pudding, SF popcicles and jello the rest of the time. I haven't had any pains, just a little sore. Tonight is my first night back to work.

Hi, I was banded on the Wednesday the 7th. I have been feeling dizzy or lightheaded the last two days. Has that happened to anyone else? I plan on calling the drs. office tomorrow.

Banded 5/7 anyone else out there close to me?

Hi, I was banded May 7th also. I had some aches in my left shoulder but haven't had to take any pain medicine since I came home the same night. I have been feeling hungry but still sticking with the liquid diet, runny mashed pototoes, yogurt, blenderized soup and protein shake. The only real problem I have had, is feeling dizzy the last two days. -
I am scheduled for May 7th. Can't wait.:wink2:

My dr. requires 4 weeks of pre-opt diet. The first week you can have Breakfast that consists of Baritrx Essentials, a fruit for both your morning and afternoon snack, Lean Cuisine under 300 calories for lunch and dinner, and Baritrx Essentials shake for the evening snack. The second week you replace lunch with the Baritrx Essentails shake and approved vegetables with no dressings for lunch. The last two weeks is all shakes for Snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Again you can have approved vegetables with no dressings for lunch and dinner.. I am having a hard time on the last two weeks. I am on day 4 and hate the shakes.:huh2: My dr. requires this from everyone. If your BMI is over 50 then you have to do the total liquid diet for a month.

Did your Doc require a pre-op diet?
pattic replied to whosthatgirl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My doctor requires you to lose 10% of your excess weight. Four weeks before the surgery you can 1 Bariatrx Essential shake for breakfast, 2 meals of lean cuisine (anything under 300 calories), limited amount of fruit for snacks and another shake for evening snack. Week three is minus one of the lean cuisines and the last two weeks nothing solid except vegtables. It SUCKS! I am on week 3 before the surgery.:purplebananna: -

I am on my second week of shakes and one meal of lean cuisines. My doctor has me drinking Bariatrx Essential protein shakes. Next Wednesday I start on the two week all shakes diet. Not looking forward to it. It is really rough.
