I I have seen some pretty rough responses to some stuff in here but honestly sometimes that's what we need. Thank you that's exactly how I feel this morning I woke up positive I had one scrambled egg for breakfast I took my time eating it it filled me up I've got my protein shakes and I got my G2 and my water Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

  4. Sleeved 6 weeks ago. I picked up grazing on crap. Getting back on wagon NOW. I feel like I'm failing already. Only down 22lbs since surgery. My new tummy handles food fine, I almost hate that. Need some encouragement. I can't fail! My parents paid for this! I know I can't beat this. Definitely do it when I'm bored old habit I guess. Starting gym tomorrow too. Ugh someone yell at me or slap me 🙄 Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

    "Regret" stage

First off hugs. I suffer from depression and anxiety so this journey has had a lot up and downs. My first thought would be a therapist. This is TRULY a hard thing to adjust to. Second... You will not regret this a year from now. Go through all your paperwork or even Pinterest for ideas. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. So today I was able to start the puree stage. I was sleeved 11/15. Basically since I was sleeve to my stomach is handling everything very well I have always eaten a little bit ahead of plan by about a week but I noticed that being 4 weeks out the weight loss has stopped and I think it's because I'm being too lenient with my eating. I haven't been logging or counting calories or anything like I'm supposed to. I have my log book out now and my journal and tomorrow I am going to start religiously writing down what I'm eating and tracking my carbs and my calories and my sugars. Is anybody else in the same boat where they feel like maybe they're not losing because they didn't stick to the plan correctly? I don't want to mess this up Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Hey that's amazing sounds like a nice healthy meal. I'm 4 weeks out I haven't had problems eating anything which kind of worries me to a point but I need to reign in the picking at food Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

    Surgery day is tomorrow

Okay first off take lots of deep breaths tomorrow you're going to be super nervous. That surgery is going to be over before you know it when you wake up you're going to feel like s*** but you're going to also get lots of pain meds so most of the pain you're going to be feeling is going to be from surgical gas there's really nothing you can do but walk so get up and walk and try to walk as often as you can when you're going through the first two nights I would say you're not going to feel well and during that time keep in the back of your mind that by the time you get to day 5 day 6 you feel pretty much normal again besides being a little sore Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
