    Slowing Down

Everyone does have their own rate of loss. Yes. You should continue to lose. It does slow down a lot after that first 6 months though. So it sounds like you're right on track. Logging food intake daily is very useful for keeping an eye on calories, and nutrition. I find I lose more when logging, even if I thought I was doing really well with my intake when not logging.

    Frustrated

You are only a month out and it says in your tracker you've lost 46 pounds. If you lost that weight before the surgery then you probably hit the 3 week stall early. You are going to lose weight. There are just going to be stalls along the way. As long as you are eating less then 1000 calories a day the weight will come off. There is no other way around it. Your body is just kicking up a fuss right now. Trust the process. It really does work.
  3. Congrats on your loss. This is probably the wrong forum for this question. Bariatric pal has a plastic and reconstructive surgery forum that would probably get some response.

    Weight gain after surgery

It sounds like you hit a stall. Weight fluctuates a bit is why you seem to be a bit heavier. Hang in there. If you are eating under 1000 calories a day you will continue to lose. Trust the process. It works.

    Phentermine

I only took it for one month although my prescription allowed for 3 months. It changed my personality. I'm generally pretty laid back. While I was on it I simmered with rage. I don't think it was apparent to others but Is was to me. I didn't like how it made me feel. I don't know if this is common or not. I had a similar personality change on Chantix so medications sometimes have that affect on me.
  6. Very uneven weight loss. I always carried a lot of weight in my bottom. The lower part of my bottom completely disappeared. But the upper part (shelf) didn't. Not attractive. Of course the weight came off the breasts first. Still carrying the last few extra pounds in my stomach and back shelf. I'm hoping when I lose my last 15 to 20 pounds the shelf and stomach fat will be gone. I guess it just forces us to try to lose it all so that our shape comes back.

    Please help!

As others suggested it's very important to log what you eat every day so you know you're not overeating. Try to keep your calorie intake between 600-800 calories a day with a minimum of 60 grams of protein. If you do this then you can just trust the process. Sooner or later it will come off. I also highly recommend weight training or body building so your body will consume your fat instead of your muscle. A lot of people who lose weight lose most of their muscle and get a emaciated look even when they are still overweight due to lack of muscle. Also the more muscle you have the more calories you burn. Our bodies might fight the weight loss but if we do what we supposed to it has no other option but to lose the weight. Best of luck to you.

do you tell your weight lost

I just say I don't talk numbers and people don't argue with that.

Cottage cheese mixed with either 1 ounce fruit cocktail or 1 ounce Motts unsweetened blueberry applesauce.

Banana's Are Slider Food For Me

Ugh. Banana's aren't a slider for me. I'm 9 months out and recently had one half of a large banana and was in so much pain. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have eaten since surgery. Granted I'm thinking I musta woofed it down. But definitely not a slider in my book.
  12. Good luck. I hope this resolves the pain you've been going through.

    CBD oil

Have you tried B1 thiamine supplement. It helped my husband quite a bit with his neuropathy.
  14. I second the possible gyno issue. Go to your gyno and rule out PID (Pelvic Inflammatory disease) or other gyno issues. The sooner the better.

    Any mushy food phase ideas?

Add protein powder to the following items to increase protein macro's. Refried beans with cheese, Ricotta bake, Pumpkin custard made with artificial sweetener or erythritol, and fairlife milk instead of cream. Can also make cheese and egg casseroles with squash, make spaghetti squash with tomato sauce. You can also add protein powder to sugar free pudding, add a bit of mashed banana to make it a banana pudding. The possibilities are endless.

    More than weight loss

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had surgery about 9 months after my husbands death. It was hard to deal with both the grief and the weight loss surgery. I think emotionally the weight loss, surgery, etc has been harder for me because of this. But I also think that it's been a bit of a distraction from the grieving. I'm much more introspective now. And overall I think it's been a positive if difficult journey. I'm trying to adopt some of his more positive traits as a testament to him. Grieving is a time consuming and consuming process. But overall I think distracting yourself from the pain isn't necessarily a bad thing. I wish you the best of luck through your journey.

    40 something sleevers?

I just turned 47. So happy I made this decision.
  18. I cared for myself after surgery by choice. My mom was willing to stay with me if needed but it wasn't needed. You can walk, you shouldn't need any help. Two people in pain in the same household is seldom a pretty picture though.

    CBD oil

Anybody use CBD oil for scars? I heard it works well. Not sure where to find topical CBD oil though.

    Slowly going down

Be patient. Your body is going to lose at it's own rate. Slower is often better. Going too low calorie or exercising to much can trigger a stall. Just stay on track and you'll get there.

    Posture

Certain exercises can improve your posture, while others may harm it. Google exercises for posture.
  22. Hi. Just wondering if others are experiencing uneven weight loss. One breast is now smaller then the other. They were the same size before. Have others noticed this?

    Not losing weight evenly

Thanks. It's comforting to think it may even out in the end.

    Rage

Lately I feel like rage is simmering under the surface. I get angry a lot easier then I used to. I can still control it in the sense that I'm not giving anyone the beatdown, all though I've yelled at a few people. But I'm concerned because I feel like I hate everyone. That everyone is an A-hole. And I'm joining their ranks. I'm not sure If it's just the surgery and weight loss. I do have a couple of other issues I'm dealing with. Is this happening to anyone else? Will it go away?
  25. For a how to cheat better tip...… Try a sea salt caramel Enlightened bar. 80 calories and 7 grams of protein. It's also pretty low carb. So not really a cheat food but it tastes like one. Even hits those pleasure centers. The mint chocolate chip one is pretty good too. Didn't love the cookies and cream ones. Those are the only 3 flavors I tried. They sell in pints but I prefer the single serve bars. Confession: On vacation I split a slice of Cheesecake factory carrot cake cheese cake with my mom. Pretty sure I exceeded the days calories in one sitting.
