My name is Nicole and I am in the process for the the gastric sleeve. I have lost 42 lbs so far through changing my eating habits and exercise.  This is a rewarding journey so far. I spent most of my life thin and at times to thin, and started to gain weight in my early 20's before it became out of control in the 30's. I never thought I would be at this place. Despite the weight, I am a confident woman and my self esteem is good. I am attractive as well as intelligent and very creative. I look forward after surgery to being able to do things I haven't been able to such as running long distances, bike riding and other activities. I would love to meet others (men or women) who are going through the surgery process or already have had it done. I think having a buddy and/or support system would be great, esp in dealing with any problems that might come up, as well as staying on track with eating and exercise:) I'm not sure what else to say without it sounding like a dating ad, lol. I enjoy life and have a lot of hobbies that give me happiness. I have a 5 year old cat whom I love dearly. (Nicknamed booger) lol
