    Can’t stomach chewable vitamins anymore!!

I am trying the capsule version of that product. The chewable makes me sneeze and sometimes get sick! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Was headed home from fasting bloodwork and needed a healthy choice. They were delicious! Consistency and portion just right for soft food phase. 3. I have a cup every other night....Between my sleeve, seizure meds and transitioning to real foods, it's the only thing that works. I was severely constipated 2 weeks ago and I will never, ever, ever, suffer that again!! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Feeling sick

I used to take the ProCare Multivitamin with Iron chewable, but it was messing with me big time. I would chew the tablet and then within minutes start sneezing. One time, the sneezing stopped and I threw up the vitamin. I have purchased the same in capsule form. Will start taking that on Wednesday when I am cleared for capsules. Most other pills, Depakote, Lisinopril and Atorvastatin, go down fine. Depakote burns sometimes so I have to eat cottage cheese or something. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Depakote and Gastric Sleeve

Hi everybody! Sleeved on 6/7 and all went well. The Hospital gave me my regular Depakote tablet and things did not go well. So I am taking the liquid version and it works like a charm. I would highly recommend it to anybody who takes Depakote... The pill is hard to swallow Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Wow.....It has been kind of rough. Have not been able to take Celebrex so my arthritis in my knees is really bad. The food craving is not that big a deal. It's really more of the lack of energy at this moment. However, I have lost 11 pounds since May 24th. This is going to get interesting... I don't get sleeved until June 7th. 7. Good morning all... I am on day 5 of the liquid diet. My surgery is June 7th. I was told to stop taking celebrex on Thursday to prevent bleeding. I have stopped taking the medicine completely and have been in some pain, but I guess that's to be expected. Since starting this diet, I have been really tired and this morning I woke up with muscle aches, a headache and well even my teeth hurt. While I was at my doctor's office this last Friday he said that it is not uncommon to experience dehydration during the all liquid diet. He said that it sounds crazy but it has happened. Wondering if anybody has had this happened to them or if anybody has had to stop taking celebrex and what if any side effects they experienced? Thanks for any input Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Depakote and Gastric Sleeve

Thank you!!! I will call my primary care doctor on Monday and see what my options are. Thank you so much for your input. Sprinkles seem like they could be a good option Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I started my liquid diet on May 24th. It's going okay except that I am really tired. May 25th was my pre-op appointment with my surgeon and testing at the hospital. I got home about 11:30 and took a two-hour nap. Today is Saturday and even after a good night sleep, I took another nap today. Just not a lot of energy. Hope your day goes well Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Hi everyone... I have had grand mal seizures since I was a teenager and have been on Depakote 250 mg, 5 times per day, since the late 90s. Does anybody who has had the gastric sleeve have experience with taking Depakote for epilepsy? I have not been to a neurologist in years because my seizures have been under control for 10 + years. My primary care doctor manages my medications and she is not sure if there is a liquid form that I would need to take or if the pill will still be okay after my sleeve is complete. Any help is greatly appreciated! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Okay random question here... Am I the only one who hears, "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" when I make my breakfast (protein shake)? [emoji1] maybe it's just the PB2 powder! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Very cool! We will be walking the same road on the same dates! [emoji4] I know that it's going to be kind of tough the end of this month and that surgery will be a little bit hard but I think it will be worth it. I have been heavy most of my life and have finally come to the place that I can't do this anymore. So many things I have missed out on because I wasn't physically able to do it. There's a whole world on the other side of this process! I know you're going to do great!! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
