  1. I'm very surprised that your doctor is allowing you to eat all those proteins, my diet from week 1-2 will consist of pretty much of liquids except for cream of wheat made very thin with skim milk. Then on weeks 3-4 start on pureed food, then on week 5 I can start having some chicken and turkey but it still has to be pureed, and finally after 8 weeks I should be able to start eating normally.
  2. Hi Dianmi, I'm having surgery on the 14th and still on the liquid diet and I've been experiencing the same thing, I took 2 Dulcolax yesterday but it didn't do anything for me. Maybe this is tmi but I can go but it's very hard and very little and I fee like there's more, today I bought some Miralax hopefully that will help.
  3. My surgery is December 14, I have been on the pre-op diet for 9 days. The first week I was told I could eat a salad for lunch without meat, drink plenty of water (I'm using Crystal Lite lemonade, I love it), low sodium chicken broth, J-ello and 2 protein shakes. Now I'm just on liquids and I don't find it hard at all. On Sunday I went out for dinner with my husband and ordered a salad with grilled chicken, so I guess I kinda cheated that day but that was it. Today I called my insurance company and I was told that I got approved. I'm so excited. Height: 5'1 Starting weight: 213.9 lbs Current weight: 203.2 lbs Goal weight: 130 lbs
