  1. I hit my stall ALREADY 🤷🏽‍♀️ been at 300 for almost a week. I’m not worried about it though, because I know that my body is healing. I’m not in a rush, I loss 30 pounds since surgery which was 3 weeks ago. I’m just going with the flow and staying positive. 😁

It's very common. Give your body a chance to "catch up" with its new reality and the weight loss will start again. Hang in there, I know it can be frustrating!

Same with me. Lost 38 lbs from the week I started clear liquids prior to surgery. Did not lose an ounce for the last 10 days, woke up this morning and decreased 2 lbs. I think it is normal. Dont panic. Your body is in shock and trying to figure out how to readjust.

  2. I loss 19 pounds my first 7 days post op 🙌🏽 (Water weight or real weight.. weight is weight to me.. I’ll take it lol) I make sure I keep my water with me 24.7 and I walk every chance I get. I cook dinner for my kids with no problems. I have zero cravings!  By next week I should be in the 200’s. Haven’t been there since high school 🥲

    Trying to sleep in pain!

Thanks I’m going to try that. I’m up and down throughout the night. I just want to sleep through the night with no issues. Oh and god forbid I start coughing or sneezing. That’s the worst pain!😭 I know it’s temporary I just wanted to see how others dealt with it.

    Trying to sleep in pain!

I have a belly binder and that helps me walk straight instead of limping over. I haven’t tried the pillow. I will be trying that today. Thank you!

    Trying to sleep in pain!

Thank you! I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. I have little to no gas pain. It’s just the twisting and getting out of bed to use the restroom that have me in pain.
  6. First night being home and I couldn’t sleep in my bed. I slept on my recliner in the living room. My question is for the people who went through the sleeping on the recliner stage. How long did it take you to get back in your bed comfortably? I just want to get in my bed!! 😭 STATS: I had the RNY and Hernia repair. My surgery date was Nov. 15. Highest starting weight is 360 I’m now 313. 5’8 tall.
  7. Finally home! Now I can get some rest. I hate sleeping in hospitals. Little to no pain. No gas pain but I still took a gas x just in case. Oh and I gained 10 pounds of fluid weight 😩

  8. Tomorrow is my surgery day! I’m so nervous, but excited.

Hello! How did it go! Hoping you’re in recovery and doing ok!

It went well, thanks for asking 😁! I don’t have any gas pain. Just pain where my incisions are, But tolerable. I walked around my floor 4 times already. Fluids is very easy to get down. Everything that I was scared about pre op isn’t hard at all. I also had a hernia repair.

Awesome! It’s only up from here!

  9. This liquid diet got me ready to lock myself in the room with a jug of water and protein drinks for the rest of these two weeks! 😩

Why something that seem so simple can be so hard.. 😓

    Food addiction is REAL!

What day are you on of the pre-op diet? I started to feel like it got easier after the first week. I’m going on day 9 and I actually feel less hungry and full faster. Best of luck to you on your journey.

  10. Exciting news for me. Found out I will be having my surgery October 25th!

Unfortunately they pushed it back to November 15th! 😭 they changed it 2 days before surgery, due to my insurance plan WellCare changing to sunshine. It suck because I did two weeks of liquid diet. Now I have to do the liquid diet again. This is my third day.

I know that feeling of disappointment. My surgery got pushed from September 20th to October 25th due to covid and short staff at the hospital, 3 days before I had surgery. Just stay motivated, you will get it soon. Hopefully the time goes by fast for you.
