Hi ladies, I’m 3.5 months post op and down 40lbs, and I’m going on a cruise in early May for the first time. I need a new swimsuit, but since I’m only 40lbs down, I’m still facing the same issue when shopping for a swimsuit: my thighs. There are so many cute swimsuits out there, but I have very large thighs that rub together and chafe. It’s also cellulite city around there and I prefer to keep them covered up. Does anyone know of any swimsuits with longer bottoms? Maybe even like longer shorts? That might be a long shot but I’d thought I’d ask around

I am one week post-op. ive always been a slow healer, and I think I’m experiencing it now as well. I can drink full liquids now, but I can’t take more than a few sips of protein shake or soup before I feel full. It’s also hard to drink regular liquids constantly through the day without my stomach feeling upset. As of today, I can’t walk from my bedroom to my living room without my heartbeat skyrocketing and losing my breath. I can’t shower on my own because I can’t stand for more than a minute or so without the same thing happening. My heartbeat doesn’t go below 120 even after sitting down for a while. i know this is happening because I’m basically starving and probably dehydrated. Has anyone gone through this too? Should I seek remedy at a hospital? Any feedback is appreciated.

My surgery is on Friday morning. The pre-op diet has been pretty hard - I've definitely had slip ups, but overall I think I did well enough. Tomorrow is all liquid diet before surgery, and my team at work decided they wanted to go to Olive Garden for lunch! I'm staying at work instead of going with them.

Hello! I am new to this forum. My gastric sleeve surgery is scheduled for Dec 15th. I am on day one of the pre-op diet, and it is going as expected - I'm hungry lol. I am a revision from Lap Band. I lived with a Lap Band that had somehow migrated up to the bottom of my esophagus for a good 4 years. I basically had no pouch, and almost everything I ate got stuck. I had lost some weight initially, but it all came back as I ate whatever would go down instead of what was good for me. I had the Lap Band removed in June, and the weight came back on faster than ever. I now weight more than when I initially got the Lap Band. I'm ready to make the change. I'm older and wiser and tired of being tired. It's time to work.
