  1. I know it's been a given to know you'll lose some hair after this surgery. However, is there anyone that uses anything on their hair to prevent from falling? I am taking bition, d3, b12, multivitamin, n vitamin c. Today I started prenatal gummies. I also wash my hair with biotin n collagen shampoo n conditioner. I am not drinking all my proteins but I am eating my proteins, maybe not enough. With that being said, is there anything besides the vitamins n the proteins, what can i use on my hair, any treatment, deep conditioner? Thank you Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. That's good to know. Thanks. Every NUT is different too. I guess I don't feel too bad now. Thanks again. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. That was my concern the gasses. I can drink water better and can keep measure of what I'm drinking. Lol. I needed a pretty water bottle to keep me motivated. Call me weird but I like the water bottles. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Does anyone else drink with a straw? Do you feel any different, if so, what do u feel? I bought a water bottle to make sure I'm drinking my water but it has a straw. When I drink water without a straw I feel it so heavy coming down. With a straw I take sips here and there and drink more frequently. What are your experiences with or without straw? 5. Interesting. Even taking vitamins? It's amazing how everyone is different with this surgery, what works for one may not work for the other. I also bought biotin n collagen shampoo conditioner. I'm trying it all. Hopefully something works for you. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight gain

It's true the surgery is not for everyone. However, u can enjoy the foods later on. It's a head start to lose weight but it's up to you to continue maintaining it. I'm not going to lie, I did regret it bcuz I would see ppl eat, smell yummy food, and I was here not eating. I cried. I'm 3 months post op tomorrow and I'm doing great. I'm seeing the weight drop, I'm eating a lil more, and I'm self conscious of what I'm eating now. It's hard the first 3 weeks as far as not eating n the discomfort of the incisions. It's not a horrible pain like c-section or any other major surgery. Anymore questions don't hesitate to ask. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

You easily get full but I get a weird pain. Like it's a rock going down when u eat and drink. Everyone is different though. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight gain

Me too. I really get full with meats and end up eating again after 30 min or so. I try my best to drink my protein shakes but I rather eat my protein. Lol. I just want to make sure I'm not stretching out my stomach. I want to know how it can happen. Like obviously by eating but is it when you ignore the weird pain n continue eating? Or how does your stomach stretch? Get me? Lol Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. How do you expand/stretch out your stomach? I will be 3 months post op on the 20th of February and I just want to make sure I'm not doing this since I am eating a little more solids. SW 280 CW 235 5'6 and believe it or not I have no goal weight yet. However, I want to get to my ONEderland. Maybe 180/160. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I read that you have to continue drinking your protein shakes. Premier shakes are good. In addition, I take biotin, multivitamin, d3, b12, & vitamin c. I lose hair but not as much. Hope this helps Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Omeprazole intake

I'm back to solids. So far everything is ok besides anything heavy like chicken or meat it sorta feels like it scratches my throat. Hopefully that is over quick. Feel like I can't enjoy it much. I think I'm fine but I wanted to hear everyone else's experience. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Omeprazole intake

Not being funny, but do you think I'm not healing well? It's just so much pills to take a day. I even forget or lazy to drink my 4 vitamins. I'm 2 month post op so I've been doing well, so far. (knock on wood) Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Omeprazole intake

I haven't had any issues with heart burn, that's my reason for not taking it. I'll continue reading from others reply. Thanks for your reply. [emoji5] Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Hello all. I was wondering if there were individuals that haven't taken the omeprazole? I haven't even taken not one after surgery. Will that do anything later on to me? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
