The same thing happened when i went in for my EGD also, I had to take meds for a month and then do a repeat, so it set my surgery day back a month longer than anticipated. If they prescribe meds just make sure you take them and it should heal. I also didn't know i had one, never had any symptoms. Good Luck

That is super weird! Now that I know I have them I can totally feel the stomach pains. I am hoping the antibiotics work fast! I haven't set a surgery date yet but was hoping for the end of January... Maybe February now.
