So yesterday wasn’t a great for me as far as following my diet. I weighed myself yesterday morning at 309.2 and this morning, the same scale, is reading 315-317!!!!!!!! I am not proud but yesterday I did eat more often than I should have. I had egg salad(without bread))for a snack and I usually do not snack. I also had part of a sno cone which did have sugar. I’m just unsure how there was such a dramatic increase in weight. TMI, But I will also add I have used the bathroom. I know you shouldn’t weigh everyday but I have never “gained” so much in one day even before surgery. I could go to a buffet and still not gain so much! Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

Hey Matt, it was yesterday morning, today it said 311 which is still up 2 pounds. I should see if it does body fat, I haven’t even checked for that. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

Also I weighed my daughter to check the scale and it was registering for her as normal so I don’t think the scale was the problem. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

Yeah! Head my warning! Generally I have been following my diet really well and intend to. Maybe I’m having hormonal fluctuations or something as well, who knows! 🤷♀️ Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

I’m going the end of June, it will be 4 months after surgery. I’m trying to get into a regular meal plan of green juice or protein shake for breakfast and salad for lunch. Then protein and veg for dinner. It has been going well and if I maintain that on the cruise I should do just fine! I’m so excited!! Mine leaves June 30 Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

So I weighed in this morning at 311, still up but not as high. I understand it wouldn’t stay I just didn’t realize such an insignificant change in diet for one day would cause a change like that on the scale Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6

GALS who started their journey over 300 lb+<br /> +
sarhgrif replied to Frustr8's topic in The Gals' Room
[emoji112] hello, started in July of last year with the process to rny. In the middle of the 6 month program I went on vacation and when I returned weighed in at my highest , 378! Day of surgery I weighed 363 and am so close to the 200’s. I remember my surgeon(who no longer performs surgery bc of all of its complications, he told me after my surgery) told me the closer to a BMI of 60 the less likely of long term success. At my highest my BMI was 61. I’ve only been in the 300 for the past 2 years or so and prior was mid 200s. My BMI is now exactly 50 and I love watching it go down. I will succeed and am bettering myself and my body everyday. Since surgery I’ve lost a little over 50 pounds and can tell a huge difference but do not get many comments from other. I know once I’m down another 20 it will be more obvious bc my clothes are now pretty big and loose. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6 -

Down almost 6 pounds this week. Switching up my diet is starting to pay off. I haven’t had a loss like this since my first 2 weeks after surgery. Very pleased Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-310.6 -

2 pounds down this week. I’ve changed things up a bit with diet and wanted to see a bigger loss this week but I think my body is recalibrating. My goal is be under 300 the end of the month!!! Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-316 -

Also, I finally hit 60 lbs lost overall!!! Hit the goal this morning. I will say I have been pretty hard on myself lately as far as mentally. I look back at pictures and my face is so much fuller and swollen. I kinda get upset with myself that I looked like that. I worry I might continue to feel that way as I progress and the truth is I was very unhappy with my weight and how I felt but I was fairly confident in my looks. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-318 -

Brads, I can totally relate. Some day I even have a hard time noticing and other days I look like a different person. Yet no one really says anything, btw I work in an office full of women who love to chat. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-318 -

So I weighed in today at 327.4, I finally broke the 2 week stall this week and down about 3.5 pounds so far this week! NSV so i took my daughter to pigeon forge for her birthday and wanted to do more activities with the family. I got to ride the mountain coaster. AND. Fit with my 5 year old!! I haven’t been on a “ride” in several years due to concerns of my hips fitting and seatbelts! This was glorious for my soul! I also took a bath this week which I haven’t been able to do in a normal sized tub for a couple of years! God is good Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-327.8 -
I know everyone posts about this, I am going on 2.5 week stall almost as of now. I don’t know how to mentally get passed a stall this long so early. I’ve gone up and down about a pound for 2 weeks, how!?!?! Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-331.2

My surgeon okayed me for either surgery but was leaning towards sleeve. I am 27 as well and one month post op rny. I did this because I was having heartburn, and even though it wasn’t terrible, I didn’t want it to get worse after surgery and be subject to another surgery to rny. Being so young I just thought I would have a lot of time for it to get worse. It’s a personal decision, just do your research. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-331.2 -

This thread is so important. Just the same for those who do not have surgery. There are different ways of getting to “goal”. I’m just happy to be here, having made it this far. I have no idea how things will progress or how far I will go, the important thing is that I’m getting there. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-334.2 -
You can tell! That’s great progress congrats Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-338

I tired to see if it would help with pain. I don’t do well with pin meds. It didn’t help but that’s more so because I just don’t prefer it. You might try CBD oil, it didn’t work for me but I have heard it has helped others. I’m just difficult!! Lol Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-338

Sorry, I’m exactly 2 weeks. I was just excited I couldn’t contain. Also not many people know about my surgery so it’s nice to have people to tell. Hw-378 Sw- 363 (2/27/18) CW-338
