Of anyone is still around, how are you all? X

Anyone scheduled for surgery in January 2018? I'm booked in for the 12th. Would be nice to chat to people in the same stage x

I had my initial consultation in Oct/Nov and had my op on Jan 18th x

So, I've lost a lot of weight and am feeling good. I look better... With my clothes on... Clothes off, I look like a burst balloon and my boobs are like golf balls in tube socks. When my weight has stabilized I plan on surgery. Question is, is there a package deal that does tummy, boobs and bingo wings?!

It looks like it'll be another two surgeries for me 😥 better get saving! X

Hey bariatric babes! I bet you're all doing fab! Weightloss has slowed for sure but look how far we've all come! This time last year I was 300lbs. Today I'm 150. I'm 10lbs from goal and hoping to be there for Xmas. I never thought this was possible. Yes, there's been bumps in the road, I've fucked up a few times but this has been an exciting journey so far! No regrets xx

Good morning folks! I'm at 153lbs. Another 2lbs closer to goal! Thats a little over 89% of my excess weight since surgery day - 8 months ago. Can't believe it. How are you guys getting on? Xx

Looking good @kristin30! How did you get on at your follow up @yes_anastasia? I've only lost 1lb this week so I'm at 159. At least it's still going down I guess! 🤣 That's 103lbs in 6.5 months so I'm not complaining! Xx

It's that time of the week again my lovelies! Having upped my water and went back to a 50g protein shake and a couple of low carb snacks (for the other 10g of protein), I'm at 160 today 😀 x

Steroids do make it quite tricky so don't be too hard on yourself. Aim to maintain. Hope you feel better soon xx

Wednesday again! I'm at 165 today. 25 more to go! Also wanna say thank you to you all for all your support along this journey. It definitely helps having a group of people in the same position coaching me through xxx

Wednesday weigh in and I'm still at 167. Same as Friday... Not too worried though as I expect my loss will be slow for the last 30lbs or so to goal. You guys are doing awesome! Keep up all the great work. Much love xXx

Just back from my 6 month check up. I was 167lb today - that's 78% of my excess weight gone 😁 Thanks to everyone for your kind words. Means a lot x

I wish!!! @Tyson4834 No, my marriage is over so me and the kids have left what was the family home. Been a bit of a nightmare but we're officially in. I really would love to move over to the States! I'm hoping it'll happen a few years down the line... would need to find a job etc first. Not sure if the president would want me there to be fair although I don't think the UK counts as a "shithole country" hehe! x

Hey folks, it's Wednesday weigh in time..... and I dunno what I weigh as I haven't found my scales yet after a rather eventful house move! Keep up all the hard work folks! Everyone gets stalls now and then - they're super frustrating but they will pass xx

So now that I'm officially back on the market, I am meeting new people and going on dates etc.... that's all great. Now my ex and I have split I would like to think that I will meet someone that I wanna get up close and personal with. He had a vasectomy so the baby thing wasn't something we had to worry about... My question is, after RNY, is the absorption thing a problem when it comes to the contraceptive pill? I have a 3 and 5 year old and I really don't want any lil surprises! Implants and the jag don't work for me. The coil sorta freaks me out so I think the pill is my preferred option, if it actually is an option.

Well the advice was to go for the mirena coil today. Got it put in this morning. Jeez I have never experienced such excruciating pain. Give me childbirth any day. I got all cold, sweaty and shaky then vomited after it. I'm still bleeding quite heavily. Really hope it settles soon because I am freaking out right now x
