Am I the only one that doesn't seem to have a problem drinking as much as I want to? They told me after the surgery I wouldn't be able to drink much at a time but I'm not having a problem at all. I can drink as much and as often as I like without feeling full in the slightest. I'm really worried food won't make me feel full as well Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

I know what you mean I haven't lost anything in around 6 days now and I'm very discouraged. But I had the same problem. Milk of magnesia worked for me but I have to the some every few days. They told me that the protein shakes caused constipation and it would get better after I'm on solid foods. My Dr Took out my drain 7 days after my surgery as well. I was so happy to have it out. Finally I could sleep on my side

I'm going to be starting my 3rd stage this Monday and in really worried that I won't feel full at all. Right now I'm hungry all the time. True in still on just liquid protein shakes but my nutritionist said as long as I have 80 to 90g in protein shakes I shouldn't be hungry. But I feel starved all the time.. Wow great job I'm so jealous. I'm in my second stage and haven't lost just a whole lot of weight yet but I have noticed a diff of the way my clothes fit. I'm so confused now.. Lol. Everyone going back and forth on low carbs vs low calories. I'm not really sure now what to do or how many carbs a day I should be having. I'm going on 3 wks after my surgery and I was pretty much pain free that is until I sneezed a couple of days ago. It caused a very sharp and burning pain in my right side. My side has been hurting ever since. It's almost like it was right after surgery. Is it possible I tore or ripped something inside? Has anyone else had that problem? I'm getting concerned, my surgery was a little over 2 weeks ago and I'm just starting stage 2. honestly before the surgery everyone was telling me how afterwards I wouldn't be hungry and I would only be able to take in about the amount of 3 shot glasses. I haven't noticed that at all.. I'm still always hungry and I can take in as much liquid as I want. It doesn't seem like my stomach is smaller.. I had to have a drain and it stayed in for a week. It was a pain in the butt and make that side of my body not heal as fast but it was so simple when the Dr removed it, I didn't even feel it, no joke there is no reason why your family dr couldn't remove it unless your surgeon just insists on him doing it.

I honestly don't know yet. I have my surgery a little over 3 wks ago and I'm still hungry but I'm being told that it will get better when I start eating real food again and not just liquids. I have noticed though if you drink lots of water and make sure if you can to drink all the protein shakes your allowed.. it does help some with the hunger I've noticed.
