hi every one i was wondering if there are any other asian bandsters i had my surgery back in december 2007 i am not loosing much as i should be as i had my first fill but thers no restriction at all i have been told that i will get my fill again in may cant wait. i need a lot of help as no one in my family understands what im going thru i am completly alone i need encourgment sorry bad:redface:spelling

dont lose heart we will get there im in the same shoes as well im a very slow loser as well i was banded in december and has only lost 10kg which is way too less i wanted to lose at least 30kg by know but no i became ill with swollen hands and feet and fever and vomiting also have diabeties i go for second fill 2morrow so i amlooking forward to that i may even feel some restricton and star losing some weight

good question what are we going to do during ramadan we already restricted with food and we wil be even more restricted im stuck on this question know i think ill keep them this way lose even more weight but ihave not been keeping them for past two years because i have been on insulin for dieabeties but with surgery i have come off insulin so i willl be keeping them this year hope fully im very glad and thank you very much for replying to my thread friend

hi wanted to know if any one out there has been banded at the derby hospital by dr leeder and if so how are you geting on with your band i had mine back in 14/12/2007 and its thebest thing that has happend to me

hi how are you the answer to you question i had high blood presure sleep apnia dabeties tablet controled. high colestral and you know wat i had my band back in december my blood presure is normal colestral is normal and have gone fron 18 tablets aday to 6 tablets aday for my blood suger levels and i did not have a period for nearly 6 years and i have had 1 last week .all thnxz to the band i hope this wll help a lil bit i am not well educated plz dont mind my spellings

hi i want to know if by mistake u eat spicy food and you have to have a drink of water then will it do any harm to you pouch as i eata lot of spicy food and try not too drink water but some times cant help it i gulp it down because of the spicyness any sugestons what do i do chew or suck a ice cube or suck a sweet instead of water for atleast an hour to half an hour :blushing::scared2:

i went in march for first consultation then had to wait another 13 weeks for my approvle. sorry about my spelling mistakes then another 6 for pre op and then another week for my op all in all 9 months for my operation

i have pain on my port site like a burning sensation now and again especialy in the morning wen i get up from bed:sad:

hi my name is sana and i have had my op at the derby general i had to wait 13 weeks for my letter once it came i was ask to go in and was asked about eating habits and the obesity nurse will go thru with she will check you weight blood pressure ask you your medical history then diatition who wil ask you what you eat what exercise you do then after that the dr will see you dr larvn at the royal in fermry then after that they will send you a letter saying exactly what you said and that are you a candidate or not once that is done they will send you a pre op letter were u will be assesed after that two weeks you will get a date for your operation which will be done at the city general in derby thats were ur pre op also be done as well as you operation i had mine ther realy nice dr operation will be done by mr leeder or member it was a good experiance i went the day of my surgery and stayed over night i have so far lost 11 kg since december 14 2007 i have had one fill and feel good n my self plz keep n touch im also just under 22 stones knw was nearly 24 stones my bmi was 55 i hope this will help a bit if not too much

sorry i know this is not the answer to ur question ts completly diferetn can u plz tell me how to make a tricker weight loss scale i see every one with one here but i dont know how to do it my self plz any sugestion and ps sorry about my spelling mstakes thanz

hi its sana her i was the same i know what u going thru ts very exiting u just cant think of any thing else but surgery was day dreaming about it at time know i have it and i think its the best thing that has happened to me it was a chrstmas present as well as a birthday present from the nhs i got it free i hope the very best for u and welcome to the site

i had my surgery in december 2007 it has been nearly 4 months know the problem is that were the port is it realy hurts when i lie down on my left side it feels as if i have been electricuted,sorryspelllng mistake it lasts for about 30 seconds then goes i cant describethe feeling but its likesome thing has exploded inside me i can hardly breath thru it my scream automaticaly comes out does any one have the same problem only my left side port side i have had my first fill prioer to thisi wasfine but since after fill whichhasno striction itshappning after that nearly every day at night or day any time:confused: oh and please any one tell me how to make one of those weightchart swere i can record my weight thanxevery one

hi im sana i am also two months post op and had my first fill on the 26 0f march i dont feel any restriction aswell i am stil eating like i was before surgery dont give up u will get there why dont u ring the person incharge of fills at ur hospital and ask for a second fill i have and they said they will in 4 weeks time o dont loose hope and sorry about my spelling mstakes
