I've dealt with an abusive spouse before... He's my EX now. An EXample of what to never be around again. Only advice I can give as I don't know you or your wife, is to talk to someone close to you, so maybe they can talk to her as well. Focus on getting better, not just for you but for your children as well. Get your strength back and then decide if the relationship is healthy and if not, how to correct it. Good luck. Gastric bypass Dec 4th. Left sided pain is worse than right side. Left side is swollen as well. Each incision has Staples, so a total of 22. One thing that's got me wondering is, why are my teeth tender when taking my Tylenol 3 elixir, calcium citrate and liquid b12? Drinking fluids doesn't bother me. My surgeon said the largest incision on the left abdominal area would be the sorest. Hope they sent you home with pain meds. Pain meds won't take it completely away, it'll just decrease it so you can relax. I've had other abdominal surgeries before, and they were all painful even with meds. If your pain is out of control, then call the surgeons office. Rest, no lifting, no stretching, no twisting, walk slow pace. Best of luck.
