Happy May! Sorry I slacked off and didn't start the new thread for the month. I haven't been online much lately. Life has been busy! Between roller derby and getting ready for my knee surgery I am swamped! I celebrated my bandiversary last Wednesday. I am 75 pounds down and couldn't be happier (well... 100 gone would have been nice!) I am not losing weight right now as I cannot excercise much until my knee gets fixed. Once that happens watch out! i can't wait to strap my skates back on and get back out there in the action. I finally decided on my derby name... Siouxsicide Bomb. I also had a bit of a make over done on Sunday.. I will post a pic!

Just checked my schedule and I will be there next Tuesday for sure!!

<p>As a fellow self payer (like you Sheila) I had my port REPLACED in the OT under general anethesia. My doc offered to do it in the office under a general (he wasn't too thrilled about that idea, neither was I) I declined and he did it in the OR. The recovery was easy... the anethesia was the worst part.</p>

Hi! I remember back until I was about a month post op I had swelling in my belly area. It was worse at the end of the day after sitting at my desk all day at work. The next Dr K support group meeting is May 8th at 6:30 at his office. Hope to see a bunch of you there!

I tan and my scars aren't red. I think it just depends on the person.

Having knee surgery in 2 weeks, May 10. Knee hurts like hell! Ball is May 6th... I post pics for sure!

I decided on a name but am reluctant to reveal it until I formally register it. There is tough competition out there for names! I will let you know in a couple of weeks though when I do it! My pic won't be on the web page until I am a bouting skater. Working my way up the ranks as we speak. My knee injury has sidelined me a bit and now I am facing surgery on the 10th to repair the damage I have done to it. I will get there though!

Here's a pic of the dress I bought yesterday Size 12!! Also found out today that i am facing knee surgery on May 10th. Shouldn't be too big of a deal but it sucks none the less! Keep me in your thoughts!

Hey Colorado! I am here too! I live in Brighton and was banded almost 1 year ago and have lost 75 pounds so far. A get together sounds great!

Torrid is my fave... in fact I just got this dress yesterday.. in a size 12! Holy crap!
