While I was sad to see Melinda go last night I am totally looking forward to the finale now! I would be thrilled with either Blake or Jordin winning. Melinda was just too old fashioned and the other 2 are much more "today".

I had that problem as well. Turned out I had a leak in my tubing and had to have it replaced. Good luck... hope it's just a fluke!

This didn't answer my question. I honestly want to know why you feel your needs and wants are more important than mine and those that have expressed disgust in seeing offensive thread titles on their screens.

Why should I have to remove an entire forum in order to view LBT? What makes your needs/wants more important than mine?

Wed the 6th works for me! Let's say 7 though since I will be coming from up north and traffic on I25 sucks until after 6. I'm excited to see you girls!! I want my damn knee fixed already so I can get my butt moving again! Next Wed is my surgery... doc says I should be back on skates for July!

The 6th or 7th will work for me as long as it's in the evening!

I have the same doc as Mark here in Denver. Dr Kirshenbaum.... his price is $9950.00 so it's just a teeny bit more than MX but I think it's an affordable alternative to MX. He is a great surgeon and has many patients here on LBT.

Hey LBT peeps! I just this second realized today is my bandiversary! Holy crap... how did I miss that?? To Celebrate I thought I would list the things that I can (and do!) do now and my goals for the next year. 1) I am down 75 pounds! 2) I am wearing a size 12 dress to the Doll Ball on Sunday (I WILL post pics!) 3) I am in a size 14 for the most part in everyday clothes. 4) I discovered my love of roller derby. Kicking ass and takin' names! 5) I have made some amazing friends here at LBT. 6) I have my freakin' life back. I don't sit (okay lay) around in front of the TV stuffing my face anymore. I am out LIVING LIFE! Goals for the next year 1) Have a baby with my amazing husband. 2) Be the best person I can be. 3) Lose 35 more pounds. I think that about covers the basics. My surgery date for my knee surgery has changed to May 23 (insurance issue) and I will be out of commision for at least 6 weeks after that. Yuck! I can't wait to strap my skates and pads back on and knock some bitches down! Much love to you all from lil' ole me.

Woof.... you will know pretty much right away if your band doesn't like something. I get a stuck feeling then the golf ball feeling in my chest. If you eat something and are still fine in a few minutes I would say go for it! Just go easy with new foods and chew and eat slowly. So much of this band stuff is trial and error! There are some things I can't eat at certain times... like steak...but then last night I had steak AND a few bites of crab and it wnet down fine. I have also recently discovered if I sit at the table to eat I can get things down much easier. If we get together the first week of June I am available ANY night except for Tuesday evening. Just let me know what works for you ladies! Getting together for dinner might be something to think about. Especially for you new bandsters. I know for me the first few times I ate out were nerve wracking because I thought everyone was watching me. If we go together you got noone around you but other bandsters!

That sucks lap_dancer!! I planned my wedding myself ( with hubbies help of course) in 6 weeks. I found that doing it on short notice worked out to my benefit since we got married on Thanksgiving weekend and I got discounts from the venue and all my vendors for being a) a holiday weekend and less than 2 months in advance. If only a fill would help with my M&M addiction I would be set! A fill dosen't affect my ability to eat that stuff though. If I was any tighter I wouldn't be able to eat ANYTHING healthy!

Jen... I was banded in Denver by Dr Kirshenbaum. Your the first bandster I have met that was banded the same day as me though! As for the skating.. I am in a roller derby league here in Denver. I have a link in my signature you can click on and learn all about us. I LOVE skating and can't wait to get them strapped back on!

Since I'm the "people" you are referring to I will answer your question. No... me veiwing LBT at work isn't a big deal. I do it on my own time and my boss doesn't care as long as I have my work done. But when said boss happens to come up behind me and "boy love" is on my screen it raises a few eyebrows and that privledge could be taken away. Should I have to cringe everytime I click New Posts and HOPE something offensive doesn't come up on my screen? This is a freaking LAP BAND support site first and foremost. Have we forgotten that??
