200 Pounds & Under Slevers out There
aquamar61 replied to Meguone's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello there. I am three day out. Had sleeve Nov. 7. Start weight was 198 lbs. After two week pre-op diet I was 187. I am 56 and 5' 3" and my goal is to be able to be a healthy weight and have enough energy to work until 65, (I love what I do), and be an active and fun grandmother. -

Hello sockigal. Congratulations. I had my sleeve on the 7th. My surgeon told me no weighing in for first two weeks.

Anybody from Southern Ontario, Canada?

Hi there Rebecca. Have you had your surgery yet? I had sleeve on Nov. 7 in Toronto (fee for service) and wait from consult until the surgery was only a month. -
BC resident traveling to Toronto for sleeve

Had my sleeve done by Dr. Orzech through SmartShape Toronto on Nov. 7. The staff were wonderful before and after. So far so good. Have the expected discomfort associated with the gas and some discomfort with some fluids but great improvement over time since Tuesday. -
Oh my. Great this morning but rough afternoon.

Able to drink like before surgery
aquamar61 replied to TripletDad's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Are you taking in more fluids than are recommended? Maybe talk with your nutritionist or dietician? -
First full day home for me; had surgery on the 7th. Doing well I think and getting fluids in ok and without too much discomfort. Hoping things settle for you quickly. Wishing you well.

Wishing you well. I am now on second day post-op. Recovering well I think. Able to drink the recommended fluids without too much discomfort.

Hello Tripsplus [emoji4]. Wishing you well and a speedy recovery. I was allowed 3 shakes and a little low glycemic veggies. You are nearly there! WE are nearly there [emoji4]

How do I create profile
aquamar61 replied to aquamar61's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello Nat. The links sent to me in the welcome email would not work but I will try using computer. Thanks for your advice [emoji4] -
Hello everyone. Brand new to this app. Having trouble navigating my way in here. Anyone able to tell me how I find where I can create my profile? Thanks so much

Thanks everyone for sharing. I am on my last day pre-op and am both excited and nervous/frightened. Had difficulty sleeping last few nights. Trying to stay hydrated today as surgeon said hydrating really well last couple days pre-op is so important. Also spending time trying to learn how to navigate in this app while reading posts from others. 😊 Tried to get on live chat but had an error. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello everyone. First day here. Having sleeve done on Tuesday. 12 days so far of the shakes and low glycemic veggies. Getting hard! Anyone have suggestions? Anyone have suggestions for early post-op?
