Did anyone set a recliner up to sleep in when you got home? Can you walk dogs ,, do you sleep a lot after? sucks about bowel inconvenient episodes .. feel better. , sorry to hear that .. does it stop?

Hi! Wow I didn’t realize that might happen. I am starting preop tomorrow. I hope I can handle this I’ve tried a couple of days to try liquids and I couldn’t make it all day. I ended up making a huge salad .. than soup, than apple. I know I have do this tomorrow, I’ve been so hungry.. anyone have tips . On how to prepare .. I didn’t get much info .. other than liquids ., did anyone get their hair colored before., what are you packing for hospital and setting up before you get home! I need an organized plan I feel out of control .. yikes help ,, reading all of your journeys ., wishing you all positive vibes for success,

You have been through so much! Whew! !i just realized how to comment on your responses and comments :/! Technology challenges. Sounds Like you have a big heart. Joel O was good today and I reset my thinking and have had a better mindset and day. This is definitely an adjustment and the Lapband revision is why I’ve been so adamant since my removal this past August.. my stomach wasn’t too bad., the longer I wait things are going backwards:(... I am a low BMI 30 ... now Feeling Good and healthy .. physicaly and mentally are our common threads .. not everyone gets the challenges and low or high BMI ers shouldn’t judge.. just support each other through this journey .. My hopes for you and all of us to hear the good bad and kindness we all need. I am a bit nervous band to sleeve.. I followed the program on the sleeve but this seems scary that it is permanently even though I was in the lapband for the long haul. I didn’t want it out! I didn’t know you get staples removed ??? My preop is three days liquid .. one clear. Starting now the dates changed to 28.. so I’ll enjoy the holidays a little bit .. Some food and drinks wise ., definitely am not over doing it! Not worth it .. i wonderif this is very different than the Lapband? A good decision? My husband thinks just stay as I am .. why take this risk..? Is there a lot of pain? Do you ever feel normal again.. I’ve lived with the band for 6 years and didn’t mind it must if the time. Well keep us all in the loop on your recovery. Thank you!

Thanks for starting this group Mary. sorry you are going through these trying times .. so many emotions at such a time of the year to add to all you have been through. Keep the faith .. take care of you. Put yourself first you deserve it. You have come along way. Family really plays on our emotions and can be a set back .. in my opinion it’s so hard because of the moms .. people we are. I am letting my step children effect my journey. I’ve got to be humble yet take care of me. Kindness .my emotions are derailing me a bit but it’s worth resetting my mind and concentrate on the big picture. Rest up and reset you have got this. Seems to me Your a very special person. Good vibes and strength sending your way. My date was changed again :/. Dec 28.. ugh. But I think with the holidays less stress. Take care of the family, Than it’s all about me! Getting so much insight to prepare .. Thanks to the whole group.

It’s really comforting to hear your experience Good and bad. .. and just feelings .. sugar free fudge pops are a staple in my house so all hooked up on those .. when allowed.. sugar free pops on my list to gather and get set this weekend. preop Starts Sunday. Whats a good clear liquid protein.. Isopur? .. vitamin water ? Googling all options to prepare. Thankfully all gifts and cards done.. stressful time of year.

Congrats! And Yikes! I just got my date Dec. 20th! Feeling the same way. I am worried I won’t feel well by Xmas Eve??? But this is about me and my health.. How do you feel after a few days? Do I need any help? I don’t have anyone and hope I can do this alone. I mean assistance. Taking care of myself .. is everyone pretty self sufficient? 🙏🏻 Thanks

Good Luck! Yes it’s great to here veryines stories. I have a question for you all. i am picking my date this Thursday.. fo you think before Dec 21?22 Xmas or Dec 27? Time enough to be able to do things? Or is it just walking and resting? How do you all feel? Is it liquid for different time frames for each patient? I’ll find out Thurs. Thanks!

Oh wow!! How do they get away with that? Glad you had #1option and the next day the light shined!!!its a sign Good Luck keep me posted. i had a December date thinking it was a go. Denied me because my BMI not 35! 32..Have all the Co morbid issues .. HB, High Cholesterol? Joint pain. Even though I just had an emergency Lapband removal the end of August. Drs letters all said medically necessary. Revisions should be approved in my opinion! Ridiculous for me to gain more weight than the 25 I’ve gained already! I am going to sp? My health is at stake and I don’t want to gain more .. December date was on hold with my Dr.. unless I try to find a new Dr or appeal ? Anyone appeal. I may look into Hernia to have checked out. Thanks for sharing. its nice and helpful to here everyone progress.. I thought I was in this group of Dec sleevers because Dr said my date would be fine to move to scheduled Dec 12 ? Moved to Dec 19 now .. can I still stay for now on this group? . I hope all goes well-with you Dec Sleevers! I hope I am one of those!!!

I guess I will be going it on my own. Getting a date this month Monday from Drs office, looking for Dec. 19. Any other self Pay.. I will appeal but I think I need to just move forward this is out of control .. . Starting liquids Monday. I am scared. How are the December sleevers doing? Anyone from Fl?

I haven’t eaten any Pasta breadeating the same just more., not much.. less exercising because I am recovering and depressed from having it removed . My BMI lower than start so it’s been a struggle to get this done.. I have the other conditions to support the need in my opinion.. just waiting on insurance. Any low BMI ers 30 ? Anyone out there to give me insight on your experience and if this is a good decision for a revision. Since it’s permanent unlike the Lapband. Any input on your stories or advice on insurance .. lapband revision to sleeve.. success rate?? Etc Thsnk you.. I don’t want to go backwards ., didn’t want my Lapband Out was doing great keeping weight at a good place . i can get this done next week if I want to go it ., hopefully insurance 🙏🏻
