12/13 update 235lbs . missed last week weight in but catching up

yea I understand the fear that is my fear as well ... I haven’t been pregnant had the sleeve to better my health and when I do decide to get pregnant not be so overweight but yes the fear of being pregnant well wait at least two years but wouldn’t want to gain all my weight back .

yes I understand like before and after surgery numbers were coming off but now it’s like no lost at all it’s about 800 calories a day i’m taking hopefully this numbers go down

I had surgery 11/10 . SW i was about 262lbs at the first few weeks i was on liquid diet went to my post op appt and came down to 247 this was last week appt weight myself was at 244 and now back 247 lbs on purée food stages but am just doing soups maybe about up to 2 cups at most and protein drinks 3 (25protien) and taking my water but not losing as much as I thought is it normal I want to go back to gym but doctor say wait another 3 weeks to weight train .... can’t take eggs just make me nauseous mostly yogurt soups protein shakes water tea or what i’m doing maybe some chicken butt slowly mashed up .. is it normal that the first few weeks you lose a lot and then not lose as much ????

11/22 check in at 247.4 lbs

How long would I have to wait to wear spanx or shape wear I always wore them before surgery but i’m 9 days post op is it to early or should I just wait .....

had surgery 11/10/2017 ...It’s been about two days that I have been having this left shoulder pain I thought maybe it was me sleeping in the wrong position but it feels sharp like in my joint it last about 2 minutes i raise my arm and it start to feel better any body have had this pain before ????

thank you any recommendations to get rid of it ?

So surgery is tomorrow .... nervous but just anxious to get it over with lol ... excited but nervous ..... been hard 6 months working lost about 45 lbs during the last 6 months ... and now this is just the beginning of this journey...well midway ... surgery 9am so I know it’s going to be hard getting a good sleep any suggestions to sleep calm like a baby lol ... I try not to think of it to much but it’s surgery and thats a main thing... I have heard of doctors stopping surgery due to fatty liver even if they did diet changes and lost weight .... also after surgery do you take your protein liquid that day hours after surgery or what happens after surgery do I bring my protein liquid drink with me ??? or once I go home is it then that i start my liquid drink once again ...??

had surgery 11/10 everything went fast from the time they put me to sleep till I woke up ... once I woke up I saw my family but the pain was serious had so much pressured for the first few hours Morphin was given to ease pain and they made me get up to walk 6 times a day ... felt a little bit better yesterday but was so sleepy always sleepy .... came home today morning but the only discomfort is the my side it’s stitches it’s hurt when i try to move get up or turn over to sleep ... but I managed pillows became my best friend ... trying to get my 60-80 grams of protein water but little by little I can feel it going down my throat and stopping in my stomach sounds weird ...walking bending up and down or lifting you legs help with the gas flow or even tapping your back while drinking like burping a baby .. anybody recommends any things else for gas?? other than that recovery healthy hurts yes but little by little things better ...

hello surgery went well friday morning . just came out hospital today morning .. still a little achy and gassey but walking it out .... at first a lot of pain but coming home and support of my husband has mad it easier

yes I have surgery tomorrow and even once i started this journey my hair was thinning I added the extra biotin and yes missed a few days of vitamins as they say vitamins are important been taking vitamins and biotin.. after surgery they mention to not take vitamins for a week and then start again but are there any other recommendations to help the thinning hair or not lose that much hair during the 3 months post op ???

also with my liver diet I only lost about 5 lbs is that okay ?? it was 2 shakes 1 meal & 2 snacks .. but didn’t lose as much

Hello , so just needed words of wisdom and support .. i’m 25 and having surgery 11/10.. i’m scared anxious nervous one for this being the first major thing that has happened to me .. as i never *knock on wood* been to the hospital until now.. no kids due to this being main reason why i’m having this to have kids in the future,, been on liquid diet it’s hard, headaches, and just emotional about everything.... i’m excited don’t get me wrong but i feel so scared even though they say it’s a quick surgery but the aftermath is what scares me .. like losing hair if i don’t get enough protein which my hair has been starting to thin & mild loss...and recommendations like to stable hair loss also how to prepare for surgery day like with a clear mental state. ?? thank you everybody and i just love hearing the stories of people going through the same thing as me & their before and afters .
