First of all congratulations on the 75lbs down !! Huge accomplishment!!! I can relate I was sleeved 11/09/17 and I’m down 80lbs. This past month I have more of an appetite, which scares me a little. But I’m doing my best to make an effort to have low calorie, low sugar high in Protein foods and also when I do snack trying to make good choices like string cheese, yogurt and sugar free Snacks . I stay btw 800-1000 calories a day myself.

Congratulations on your accomplishments! I agree with you 1 thousand percent . Same for me nothing I was doing was working and I was so unhappy with myself and just gaining more and more weight. We all are going through this journey together, maybe different variations of the journey . But none the less no one can understand this unless they have been through it . We’re all winning- better health and happiness!

Well yesterday was an extraordinary day I had to walk my dog to the vet walk her back pick my son up early from school take him to the ent and then I did my follow up, so I was out and running around since 745 am and didn’t get home until almost 7pm. I generally average about 15 thousand steps a day because I have to take two children to school. Then I commute to work which is an hour 1 bus and two trains. Then I’m running from meeting to meeting at work and rushing memos around for signatures etc... then running to pick up kids, walking my dogs and cooking dinner. When I say carb free I mean no rice no bread no pasta no potatoes.

Thank you ! Yeah I did sugar free , carb free until yesterday . My doctor told me with my weight loss I can begin to safely add low quantities of carbs back into my diet. I do really think it’s my walking and swimming is what has boosted my weight loss but I don’t push myself I don’t do it on the weekend and if I’m tired or need a day off I take it . Just do what you’re comfortable with.

Okay we actually had our surgeries pretty close. I think my diet before the surgery was so bad and once I went on a sugar free carb free diet it put my body into shock. I’m surprised they thought that wasn’t fast enough. I don’t think 44lbs is a little, that a huge accomplishment. Did they suggest anything to help increase weight loss?

How long ago was your surgery and how much have you lost ?
-
Good to know I’m not alone .
-
Wow that’s great . I’m going to order some . THANK YOU from me and my boobs lol.
-
Ohh that’s a great tip. Where did you get yours from?
-
Supringly well I was really concerned my stomach was going to have a lot of excess skin especially since I have two children but so far it doesn’t . But I still have a little pouch that I think longer term I will need to do an ab work out to help reduce . My boobs have lost a lot of weight and they don’t have a lot of skin but if I pull the skin there definitely is some and I think they are saggy now and would like to get a breast lift down the road . (Mybe a better bra would help in the meantime lol)

I was 230 my surgery day which was 11/09/17. So it’s been 3 in a half months technically and I now weigh 160. But I also lead a very active life. Today I took 22 thousand steps and I go swimming 3 times a week only for 30 minutes. So I’m going to have blood work done this week because my surgeon just wants to be sure I don’t have an deficiencies since the surgery with my rapid weight loss.
-
So I had my 3 month visit today and am officially down 70 lbs . My surgeon seemed kind of shocked. Did anyone else’s surgeon/nutritionist seem surprised by your weight loss?
-
I am 3 months out and headed to my follow up appointment currently. I am barely able to make 600 a day plus my liquid intake. I hope that okay. Congratulations on the 63 lbs !!!
-
I’ve hit them too. I just stick to my plan and try and stay away from the scale . Which is hard because it’s become my new best friend and my worst enemy since the surgery.
-
I was sleeved on 11/09/2017 I was 230 lbs (I’m five feet). Today I weighed in at 162lbs and feel amazing . I went from a size 18 to a size 10 in just a little over 3 months I’ve lost 68lbs.
-
I didn’t have a BM for 11 days . I was told it’s normal during the liquids phase also the pain medication can constipate . I was told that now I should go about 3x per week since I’m on puréed foods now and if I’m not I should take a laxative to assist me . I wouldn’t worry just mention at your follow up.
-
I was sleeved on the 10th. I spent two days in the hospital. Lots of nausea and pain- both were managed really well though with medication. I went home on the third day and started feeling much better once I was well enough to get up and take small walks around my apartment. It took me a few days to get there but you will just listen to your body and go at the pace right for you.

Omg okay lol my mistake . Then I’m at a loss for you .

31 lbs is amazing . Don’t get down on yourself, everyone stalls. Just keep to the program and keep in mind you may not have lost pounds but might have lost inches which is just as good ! -
Of course . We gotta support each.
-
Stay strong . We all have a day or days like that. Just try to keep in mind your goals for doing this to begin with. This will pass and in a few months it will all seem worth it.
-
Good morning All, Random question lol .... how many of you that have been sleeved and have turned to cooking for the family? How was it?
-
How have you been ? Getting a little more walking In?
