Thank goodness spring is coming, I really need the sunny spring weather. Did you know that spending 30 minutes or more outside in warm, sunny spring weather links to a higher mood and better memory? It's also easy to find fresh produce during spring. It's also time for some road trip don't you think? How about you, what are you looking forward to in spring?

If anyone decides to travel or go on a road trip, there are ways to have a safer spring break https://www.parents.com/fun/vacation/ideas/spring-break-covid-how-to-travel-and-where-to/

Keep it simple. When we try to change too much at once we end up getting fed up and we lose our motivation. Try to do one thing at a time consistently and when it becomes a habit take on another task.

I am so sorry for your loss, I have not lost a son but I have lost a loved one and I know how you feel. Be strong, I'll pray for you.

Wow, you look amazing!

Isn't it wonderful to wake up some days and feel like you are ready to take anything? But on the other side of the bed, there's anxiety badgering you about the million and one things that will go wrong today. People would call me over-emotional, some would tell me to move past my problems and carry on. But they don't understand that I can't just put the things that worrying me or dragging me down and never look back. Today has been a day where my anxiety defeated me but posting here is my way of taking back control, It might be temporary, and I have accepted that, but I’ll bounce back because I always do.

Pregnancy after WLS
Numbheart replied to baritheri's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I've read that experts typically recommend postponing pregnancy until your weight stabilizes typically at least 12 to 18 months after surgery. Some experts recommend waiting longer. -

A friend of mine who is scheduled for surgery next year was recently experiencing anxiety, maybe because of the covid isolation. Is it okay to push thru with the surgery even if she has anxiety or could weight loss surgery help her?
