No worries, it'll come. Mine did, that's for sure! Just took some time for my body to adjust. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I know it doesn't last very long... but with the amount I'm losing... I won't have any hair by then. I'm not even being dramatic. I can tea l run my hands through my hair and have a fist full of hair. I'm seriously debating just shaving my entire hair so when it does grow back it'll look even. I'm sick of having strands of hair everywhere... sigh! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

Just take it slow. It'll take time. It took me a moment to realize what my signals were... a big one for me is if I burp. I used to never burp before surgery... now I do all the time but especially if i'm getting full or eating too fast. You got this! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I definitely cheated pre-op... post op I don't consider what I'm eating as cheat meals. I stay within my calorie limit and eat very little of it. I LOVE fries so I might pick at them here and there, I've had chips but never a whole bag like before. I can't drink pop, the carbonation hurts my stomach. Otherwise I'd love a glass! Probably a good thing tho. lol I'm down 78lbs in 3.5 months. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app -
I got one and never use it. I hate jewelry and never weat watches so it was just uncomfortable for me. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

Hey April Bypass-ers! Just wanted to know how everyone is doing? How much have you lost? Have you had a stall yet? How's your eating? I had my bypass on 4/23. I'm down 34lbs since surgery & 64lbs since my highest weight. I got a stall for about a week when transitioning to regular foods but I didn't panic and started losing again. My eating has been great! I just gotta watch the carbs Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

You're doing great! Stalls are really hard. Every other week is basically a stall for me. I just got to 274 today and my next small goal is 250 as well!! I hope we get there soon I've had some slips too but it's not really that terrible. I'm still eating 100000% better than I was previously and I get full so fast. It sounds like you and I are in a very similar boat. We'll just have to keep at it!

It sounds like everyone is doing great!!! I'm really proud of all of us. Currently was I a stall. I talked to my doc and he said the best way to break a stall is increase protein and water intake. Took his advice and weighed in today 2lbs less. I say give this a shot if you're in a stall too! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

My taste buds changed but is starting to go back to normal. I'm not able to eat anything too sweet and i'm unable to eat yogurt. Yuck.... my smell kinda changed too. Every smell made me feel nauseated. I had pneumonia right after surgery though so idk if that impacted anything. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had a similar experience! It doesn't happen every day but it's happened maybe... 6 times and i'm a little over 2 months out. It becomes suuuper painful for me. I think mine had to do with how fast I was eating. Think that could be the case for you? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

Mourning the person you saw in the mirror
Sprinkles1 replied to CaribeRidge's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Omg! I do that too. Everytime I see someone overweight I think about sharing my wls story with them. I just want to help them live someone helped me. I obviously don't because it would be considered rude but.... I really want to. There's this girl at my job that's nearly immobile due to weight and every time I see her I have the urge to just tell her that she has options. Sigh. Something weird started happening ....
Sprinkles1 replied to Mattymatt's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Never happened to me... although fake sugar is starting to gross me out. I was just thinking today that after this surgery my body feels a little unpredictable. I never know how my body is going to react to something. I hope whatever you're going through passes quickly! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app -
Perspectives on Losing Fast & Slow
Sprinkles1 replied to GreenTealael's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm happy with even 1lb of weight loss. It's more weight loss than I would have had without the surgery. I'll get to my goal.... eventually. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app -

Decisions , decisions, decisions
Sprinkles1 replied to Beautfully Flawed's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I picked bypass because of how much I had to lose! I started at 340. My surgery weight was 311on 4/23 & I'm currently 276. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app -
I definitely know what you're talking about, OP. Even before my surgery people were telling me not to lose too much weight. Like... what? No. I'll lose as much as I need to be healthy and confident. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
