I never really talked about goal weight with my nutritionist or surgeon... I just picked a weight that sounds good for me. This night sound crazy but... I still want to be a little thick. In 5 days I start a 4 week liquid diet. I get 4 protein shakes a day and raw veggies only. I'm a little nervous but... mostly excited! Nervous because that's a long time of not eating a real meal... excited because I'm one step closer to surgery! Any tips for the liquid diet? I'm a little scared that I'll cheat. I have bcbs IL too! My nutritionist appointments were $0-25 after insurance. My endoscopy was $1200... but, I didn't meet my deductible until then. I got approval from bcbs the same day my doctor submitted for approval. Literally took them like ... not even 2 hours for the approval. I was shocked. My sister in law really grinds my gears! I went to visit her and my brother the other day and she kept brining up my surgery. She kept saying things like you're going to be on medication the rest of your life and you're going to lose all your hair. First off, I'm going to be on vitamins for the rest of my life, not medication... and I'd gladly lose all my hair if it meant being healthy. I just hate that she thinks she knows everything. I'm the one going to doctor appointments & seminars. Not her. I know what I'm getting myself into. I tried to explain it to her, but she just made a face and said we'll see. UGHHHH. End rant.
