For those who self-paid how much was your surgery?

I used Baylor Scott and White in Texas for a cost of 15000. Received excellent care. I would recommend his facility to everyone. -
I was in for one night too, but I had sleeve. My surgeon requires two nights for bypass. I would ask your surgeon. Good luck, you are on your way.

You will do great! after the initial discomfort, you will feel stronger each passing day. I had sleeve on 3rd and realized today I needed to set timer for sips of protein and water or I would not get enough of either. 15 mins between sips, and I am finally finishing one 8 oz shake and had plenty of water. Good luck😇😇😇

Congratulations. I had my surgery on the 3rd. I am already trying no pain meds today. And no nausea meds. Just drinking slowly, taking vitamins. I cameout of hospital weighing 13 lbs heavier because of the gasses and fluids. I am down 11 lbs now and feeling better. Remember, it gets better everyday.

I had my sleeve surgery on January 3rd. I am home now and feeling pretty good. I started my shakes and vitamins, slowly. Just a bit sore, but no worse than when I had gallbladder surgery. I am not hungry, which is great. I am drinking slowly. And walking around the house a few minutes every hour. I'm on my way😇 Good luck everyone.

Sleeve tomorrow😁 I am so ready. I have lost 100 lbs 3 times only to regain. This will be the permanent tool I needed. Wish me luck. And to everyone waiting, please hang in there. It is going to be worth it.

I am going through the exact same thing. My surgery is Jan 3 I have been on preop diet for 10 days, and hungry lot. I agree with the responses, liquid diet is affecting our ability to think straight. We can do this. We are almost there. Hang in there and let us know how it goes. -
I am scheduled for January 3rd. am so excited, but a little anxious too. My preop diet is going well, but getting hungry. I may be freaking because I won't be able to eat after surgery😊😀😁 too am worried about aimals jumping on me. I will be guarding my self with lots of pillow. Good luck everyone😄😄😄
