I love the ancient grains flat out Protein fold its. I put 1.5 oz of turkey and 1 thin slice of cheddar on it and it’s 10 g carbs and 20something protein. I can’t eat the whole thing so it gets broken up into two meals. I love them because they’re low carb- only 10 grams I think for the fold it, high protein variety- I was a huge sandwich person before surgery so these are a great alternative for a post surgery lifestyle. The carbs are low, the calories are low. They don’t taste awful and you can toast them! I toasted one and added a tablespoon of peanut butter to it for breakfast and it was amazing. I

I’ve been stuck at 147 lbs for three weeks and it’s starting to mess with my head. Today’s my birthday so I took some new pictures and looking at the comparison is really helping me deal with the emotional aspect of stalling and realizing how far I’ve come. I also bought myself a full length mirror for the first time in my life and I’m excited to hang it up! @redhead_che - you look incredible and you’re an inspiration! I can’t wait until my scale reads that number, although my stomach will never look that good in a bikini 🤣

**weight came off not over**

Body dysmorphia is such a strange, confusing thing. I was similar to you in that pre op, I didn’t feel that I was THAT big. I saw the pictures and saw the mirror but I couldn’t possibly actually be THAT fat. And then I had surgery. I’m down over 130 lbs and have never felt more enormous. It’s as if the weight came over and with it the rose colored glasses. I’m suddenly HYPER aware of my body. Yea my legs are much thinner, but the sagging skin at the top of my thighs is the only thing I see. I went from a size 24 to a size 4, but I can’t do anything about the huge amount of skin hanging on my stomach. I feel like a stranger in this body and I don’t know how to handle it and the attention that comes with it. I in no way regret my surgery and would do it 100 times over again because physically I feel amazing, but mentally it’s been a huge challenge.

DECREASED expenses after the sleeve? Obviously food, but detail is requested
She_whirls replied to ObesityBlows's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I spend more money a month on food, actually. Eating healthy is much more expensive than eating crap! We don’t eat out anymore so that helps cover the difference in our grocery costs. -
How has Loosing Weight Changed Your Style Picks?
She_whirls replied to Kat410's topic in The Gals' Room
I kept pretty much the same style, just in smaller sizes. I did trade in my bootcut jeans for skinny jeans but I’m a jeans and graphic T-shirts and converse type of girl- always have been. -

Holy hell- that’s a huge achievement and you should be proud! -
I haven’t had the chance to take full body pictures this week but here’s the comparison in my face as of this morning. Left picture is at my highest weight of 282.2 lbs in January 2017- right picture is this morning- with a Snapchat filter to cover the bags under my eyes 🤣- at 150.8 lbs

You look amazing!! Congrats! I haven’t taken a picture recently but I’m gonna try to take one this week. I’ll be 7 months out on the 14th- I’ve lost 104.2 lbs since surgery! I’ve got 27.4 lbs to go until I hit my goal. It’s definitely coming over slower now but that’s fine! I’ve gotten myself into a good routine with food and exercise and I’m happy with that. I just want to lose that last 27.4 lbs before I hit one year out! I’m also over the hair loss. I’d love some regrowth now!

I used sizers for awhile but eventually just had my rings sized at a jewelers. I’m about 7 months out but I’m really hoping my fingers don’t shrink anymore

Any Gastric Sleevers 300 pounds or less before surgery lose 100 pounds afterwards?
She_whirls replied to Beta98's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I’m not at exactly 100 lbs yet but I started at 256.4 on the day of surgery. I’m 6.5 months out and have lost 99.2 lbs so far just from surgery. I’ve got another 30 lbs I’d like to lose before I hit my 1 year out. -
Cibu platinum is by far the best purple shampoo I’ve ever seen or used (I’m a hairstylist). Be careful with purple shampoos and conditioners though because if you leave them on longer than suggested you end up with lavender.
