North Carolina BCBS - got a question!

Hi Brandi!! I live in NC and also have BCBS/NC. I was told that I have to have a referral from MD, psych eval, recent physical, thyroid test and a class before I can meet w/dr. They will then sch. me with the surgeon and do a pre-est to my ins. I am not sure if this is BCBS requirement or the surgeon's requirement. Best of luck to you!!! -
