None yet. I am still in full liquids though. I still tolerate Premier Protein drinks which I know a lot of people report after surgery they can't do anymore. I am heading back to work tomorrow. I am going to do some part time days and then go back full force on Monday.

I'm so glad you all posted this! My husband is convinced I didn't have the surgery because I feel so great and haven't had ANY issues. No pain meds after the surgery, up and walking right away. Glad others are experiencing this as well!!!

Calling all October sleevers!!

I had my sleeve on 10/26. Came home 5 pounds over because of IV saline. Now one pound less than when I went in. I am getting roughly 300-400 calories on a good day. I use the Baritastic App, which I really like to help me track my proteins, etc. I got for the first time since surgery more than 60 g protein today, whew hew! (Though my dietitian says I need about 100g since I am 6'2"). But she and I knew I wouldn't be at 100 for awhile. Does anyone else's stomach/intestines make a crap load of noise now? Some things I can definitely feel my new stomach (too big sips of water, Jell-O), but other things like chicken broth I seem to be able to get more down. Anyone else having this happen? My recovery has been pretty easy so far. I'm trying to get my surgeon to let me go back to work... -

Reason for missing work??

I am with you. I have started spreading the seeds of potential major weight loss with my coworkers. I am down 40 pounds since summer, and I am telling people it's all nutrition and that I am starting my exercise program in November (I get sleeved Thursday). People have noticed the weight loss so hopefully it won't be as obvious that I had WLS. Happy to be your WLS buddy if you need! When are you getting sleeved? Thanks everyone one for the input! -

Hi all, Having my sleeve done this Thursday. I have told a few people, but don't want most people I work with to know. What reasons do you give for missing work? I work in a place where people will probably ask and it would be weird to say nothing...
