I am 2.5 week’s post op and have experienced the same thing a few times. Once it happened when I tried the tiniest piece of ham that I thought I chewed at least 1000 times! I’ve stuck to cream soups since then and hadn’t had it happen since. But it was awful. I think I was pushing my tummy too much. Try slowing down and eating even less. Good luck! :-)
