I can't remember who told me about Iceland Yogurt but I decided to give it a try today. Let me say that it tastes so much better than Greek Yogurt. Greek Yogurt had a funny aftertaste that I found disagreeable. If you want to try the Icelandic variety, the brand to look for is Skyr. It has less sugar and carbs than Greek and tastes pretty darn good. You can't beat that a serving size has 15g of protein.

Skyr has a lot less! Skyr doesn't even taste sweet. It kind of tastes like a very light sour cream with a hint of vanilla bean or whatever other flavor you choose. All in all it rests really well in my pouch. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

LOL! Naw, not really. I'm just a 41 year old curmudgeon. -
Saw the head doc again today because I am feeling so mentally out of sorts. You cannot put a price on a good psychiatrist. A little med adjustment and she thinks I'll be on the up and up. Sleep has been terrible post-surgery so I am hoping this non-narcotic sleep aid she prescribed works well.

Hope you feel better soon Matt!!! I don't know if it helps or not, but I don't have depression and am not on mood drugs and I am having bouts here and there of sadness. So I think it may all be part of the whole fat liberation/hormone stuff/cortisol/vlcd and low seratonin/dopamine thing going down too.
Not saying there isn't a need for people to adjust their meds--cuz there is! Just saying, misery loves company maybe?

Actually, diet soda is disgusting if you think long and hard about it. It doesn't even really taste that great - we just grow accustomed to it.
