    I think you look great! Great job at sticking with it. Stalls are hard. I usually switch stuff up, because it seems like when I eat the same foods all the time, the scale does not move. Like I cut out steel cut oatmeal, and now doing yogurt with granola. I agree about logging every bite. Maybe too many carbs, or maybe too many calories? I use myfitnesspal and every time I eat something I immediately go to the app and log what I ate or am eating. Good luck! I hope your stall ends soon!     Hubby has had a change of heart

    I used to wear a cpap. I had to get retested for it and came in at 4.9. 5 or above is sleep apnea. Because I lost 90lbs before surgery. I was still diabetic before surgery, no longer have to take meds!(took 2 different meds) my a1c was 4.5, the best it has ever been! and I am being weaned off 1 of my high blood pressure meds!   6. I realize on nights like tonight, for the US people, its the superbowl. Centered around food and usually alcohol. I feel out of place in these situations. I am staying home tonight (smooth move tea and I are fighting! Bad day!) Even going to restaurants, parties, get togethers, even game night. They all center around food. I have been avoiding restaurants because in early January we went to Applebees, which was fine. They let me order off the kids menu (4 oz sirloin? $6 and came with salad!) I ended up being in pain the rest of the night. I had an ounce of steak, 2 forkfulls of salad. The issue, I drank water while eating. Holy moly! It is sheer habit. Does it get easier?   7. Thank you guys for the input! I am not sure if I will ever be able to eat in a restaurant. Just bad habits that I dont think about. In time i will just have to not order a drink. I dont think it will be hard come summer, as at parties and picnics I tend to mingle more. When we are cooped up in a house full of food. The deserts are what kill me! I have alot of people in my life, myself included, that are awesome cooks and bakers. I did well for the holidays. I will get a piece of something, take a little morsel off and give the plate to my cousin! Lol! Or she will give me a forkful. I kinda never did fit it, as I am not a girly girl.     After Surgery Questions

    My nutritionist was and has been wonderful! Its over a year since I started seeing her. At my sessions we first talked about proper portion sizes, difference once I had the surgery. I was advised by her and my surgeon to add 1 new food a day this way if it makes you suck or gives you pain you know the culprit. She explained nutrition and the different vitamins and supplements. My protein, how much I need, and even advised on what her patients feedback on the shakes were. I was sleeved 10/17 and still have a problem with a few foods. Chicken and pork. If it is canned chicken I can do it. (I dont drain it and mash it with a fork) i can do tuna like the chicken, i can do steak, but only about an ounce of meat. I rarely have room for veggies and carbs. Also was told to try them again in 6 months, your tastes change. And so does your itty bitty tummy! Mind you, I do go to a weightloss center and ALL of the drs except psych ate in there. I like it because they all work together when there is an issue. Can go and ask questions.     That is an awesome feeling, isnt it? I got excited last night. We were at our Friday night Bible Study at church and my pastor usually has to order me a 3x (the place that does our tshirts xs-2x are the same price. The 3x is a special order. He had to wait to put it in because of polos that needed to be ordered too. My cousin said try the 2x on. It fit!     cure for skin/fat roll irritation?

    When you are sitting or laying put a thin cloth under your belly. Skin to skin contact. I dont know about the chafing gel for that, because of it being irritated. I used cornstarch, make sure you are completely dry as it will cake and get nasty. But a makeup brush to apply? I would ask the dr. Maybe hydrocortisone cream?     My experience so far

    I was very nauseas for my first week out of surgery. I was sipping propel zero (no coloring) and vitamin water zero. You can do propel zero and gatorade zero. If they taste too strong add half water. Dont push it, because throwing up is defeating the purpose. Try to increase by an ounce or 2 every day. It does get easier!     Issues eating 3 months into recovery

    I struggle alot with proteins. I am also 3 months out. My surgeon told me to add 1 food a day. This way if you feel sick or get dumping syndrome you know from what. I can not do chicken except for canned lightly drained and mashed and you can even make tuna salad with it. I do not have a problem with steak, but it has to be medium ir medium rare and chewed very well. Also is he sticking to waiting before and after to drink? Tuna is ok if it is the chunk light (not the solid white) I cannot do pork at all and I now hate the taste of bacon. What? Yeah, I know! Fish, eh, sometimes, depends. Shrimp no. Ground meat, only ground turkey. But these can be introduced again after 6 months because then our tastes and body will change again. I hope this helps.     Solid Meat Problems

    I just hit 3 months out. My go-tos are chunk light tuna (only drain a little, mash with a fork) canned chicken (again, only drain a little and mash with a fork) i can do steak if it is cooked medium, pork does NOT sit well at all! Chicken I have an issue with, so I bought these (I think Perdue brand) carving board rotisserie chicken. I add an ounce or 2 to eggs, again, i mash it as much as I can with a fork.     Robinski, great luck to you! I hope your new workout with be fabulous! I guess I have to get the 4 year old to do 2 walks up the hill a day with me! Or chase her around the yard like a crazy lady! I know my depression and anxiety is horrible right now, so I have zero motivation. Thats why I was to be in Onderland at 199 by 2/18/18, which is my 45th Birthday! What a great gift that will be! I have to admit, if it wasnt for my totally awesome family, my totally awesome friends, and my totally awesome fellow church members, and even the people on here, my biggest inspirations, my biggest cheerleaders and my biggest support system, I never would have made it this far!
