Hi JudyPearl! This is the post-op thread for people who had surgery in November 2017. When is your surgery scheduled for?

Finally out of the 260s and into the 250s - weighed in at 259.8 on Saturday. I was stuck at 260.5 for three weeks! Stalls are so frustrating but I have to remember that they're a part of this experience and not to get so hung up on numbers, just how I feel.

Has anyone tried these Protiwise wafers? A friend recommended them to me but I'm wary of ordering things I've never tasted before. https://www.amazon.com/ProtiWise-High-Protein-Wafers-Mocha/dp/B00JAECZ82/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1515703848&sr=8-2&keywords=protiwise

    November sleevers here

Good morning, all! Saw the scale budge downward this morning finally. Maybe my stall is over - but I'm not counting my chickens just yet! Some changes I've recently made that have helped are: using a timer to make sure I am eating no sooner than 15 minutes after my last sip of any drink and drinking no sooner than 30 minutes after my last bite of food using 1 oz cups to measure my food and liquid, making sure I consume no more than 4 of those little cups in one sitting finding more lean protein sources like beef jerky, P3 protein packs, pork and smoked wild nova salmon from Trader Joe's. eating Wild Friends Protein+ Peanut Butter. Kind of a weird texture but it's tasty! no longer eating any dessert with sugar. I've switched to Voortman's sugar-free cookies, Russell Stover sugar-free candy drinking Crystal Light Peach Iced Tea and Wyler's light lemonade I can't stand protein shakes, protein bars or any sweet sources of protein with the exception of peanut butter, so I've struggled a bit getting enough protein. However, I'm hitting about 70 grams a day now (finally) and that is helping a lot! Before, I was only hitting about 50 grams.

So thankful to know everyone else is experiencing the same stall. I've been stuck at 263 for two weeks!

Only down 22lbs since surgery. Help!

Hi @catwoman7! Thank you so much for saying this. I feel so much better now because I was sleeved on 11/22 and have only lost 18 pounds. I feel like I should be losing much faster because so many others who were sleeved around the same time I was lost way more than I did in a shorter amount of time. Why do you think you only lost 16 in the first month?

Great idea, @BusyMom945! My New Years Resolutions are: to consume a minimum of 60 grams of protein per day to learn how to sip my water slowly to get to 240 lbs by Feb 28 to work out a minimum of 3 times per week at the gym to pay off three of my credit cards by end of 2018

Hi Amy, It's possible that you're not eating enough. What is your daily food intake like? What kinds of foods are you eating for each meal?

I got my sleeve done about a month ago and my appetite is suddenly crazy strong. I'm hungry all the time. Anyone else dealing with this?

Sounds like it could be your body adjusting to the lower calories still. I'm about 4 weeks out and experiencing the same thing!

I've definitely had "omg i'm starving" hunger feelings, but 4 oz of protein nipped that in the bud. So thankful that I don't need a huge meal to feel full anymore. Let us know how you feel after you have a little protein

Me weight is stalling a bit but I'm not too worried about it. Still on pureed food until next Wednesday and I'm sure I'll see the scale move even more once I'm back on soft solid foods. Feeling pretty good other than some nausea and dizziness last night. Had a couple spoons of peanut butter and went to bed early. Woke up feeling healthy and happy. Cheers!
