    Have to share two NSVs!

    Yayyyyyyyyyy[emoji16]
  8. Oh and also other expenses 2 x psychologists $240 but $73 back each time from Medibank, dietitian $140 and $43 back. Endoscopy anaesthetist $175 - haven’t claimed back yet but might get something.... then I think you have a few more of the dietitian ones and maybe a psyc at 6 weeks then every 3 months after. The actual cost of the op is $5000. But there will be a rebate on that too I think! But not totally sure... anyway this gives you an idea.... oh and barium swallow was $180 I think which already included the Medicare rebate [emoji4]
  9. Medibank with full hospital cover would cost you under 5000 with Phil lockie at north west private. But phone the insurance to check you will be fully covered. They have assured me that I am. Exciting for you, best of luck [emoji4]

    Perth Sleevies?

I’m really similar to you with a smaller Bmi. I have been as high as 125 but now in the 90s. I’m hoping this finally fixes things for me. Good luck to you in your weight loss [emoji846]
  11. Gorgeous family! And you look great! [emoji4]

    10 months out

Fantastic! You lost a whole person!!!! So good :-)
  13. Ahhhhh that sort of doctor!! That makes sense then :-)
  14. You must have a different system from Australia. Anyway it seems it was all sorted in the end. What a horrible thread though! Ugh!
  15. She isn’t a doctor. A psychologist isn’t a doctor, a psychiatrist is. Clearly she would like to be. I don’t think she is even a psychologist, but she might need one Pretty horrible comments from some people. Doctors generally don’t act like that if they want to keep patients. Unless they’re a cardiologist

    DONE!

    Congrats! Onward!
  21. Absolutely! It would have been better. But I promise you, you don’t have to worry. Also high potassium levels often mean you’re dead. You seem to be live and kicking to me! Look forward to your surgery [emoji16]
  22. Stop worrying, docs are annoying for mentioning stuff it’s going to be fine [emoji173]️
  23. Stand down!!!! This happens all the time and it’s generally because the blood has just clotted in the tube before it’s got to the lab. I’d bet ya a thousand dollars it will be fine on the day, pretty horrible to freak you out like that though! It will be fine!!! I’m medical by the way Good luck with your surgery :-)
