It's been a month and 4 days for me. I was exactly like you the first few weeks after surgery. Don't be afraid. It will be better. Try some watermelon before you eat anything solid, it helps the food go down better. Watermelon helped me a lot. And after eating wait at least 20 minutes to drink some liquids. Walk walk walk it helps you after eating. It will get better. Today I could eat a halve of a grill cheese sandwich without any problem, a little diet margin and whole wheat bread with the cheese, nothing extravagant. I also could eat fish, all fish is a good source of protein and soft. I tried to keep away from can fish and can vegetables. To many preservative and that could be a trigger for your stomach especially now. Don't give up. I am doing better wayyyyy better. Good luck! And stick to soft foods to start getting your stomach use to eating again. Solid little by little.
