I remember thinking after my sleeve thinking, "this is worse than my c-section." Speak with your doctor's office. There is no reason to be in that much pain. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

I really don't complain about the pain. I tried to just push through. Its just gotten ridiculous. My husband does night runs to get tums or Metamucil. I need some now. However, I am at work and forgot them at home again. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

I have severe GERD. With my sleeve, lW 189 CW 218. I have an awkward sleeve. I just want to stop the burn and lose more weight. I worked out. The shape of my body changed but my weight didn't. I got depression. The scale started to go up again. The entire time, I was in pain. Additionally, there is a hernia. My date has changed to May 16, 2019. I am happy, afraid and a little confused. I really didn't know that something would help until recently. My sleeve was done 8/14. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

Duodenal Switch after Gastric Sleeve
SeattleLady replied to NY1966's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi, I in the process of being approved for revision. My doctor plan is to go from sleeve to ? I was sleeved in 2014. I recently found out my sleeve is not a sleeve at all. That is why I have GERD. I also have a hernia. I been suffering for awhile. My GERD gets me up in the middle of the night. The bad stuff like bread does not give me reflux. However, get harburn from water. I was testing this week there is damage. I just didn't want cancer. I also have a hernia. I am happy to have this second chance. I am also worried. Can you share with me a little of your studies and why you did the revision? Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app -
The only people who will know I had revision surgery? My husband and kids. The last time it was to much attention and pressure. It triggered me to eat and hide. I have faced most of my past trauma. This time it's my business what I weight. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

Okay, I don't know you or him. However, if a doctor blamed me for my GERD? I fire his butt, write a bad review and move on to somebody else. GERD is not uncommon. Don't be a victim. Find someone new. You deserve better! Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

If he continues to refuse your request? Then get a referral to another doctor connected to your bariatric surgeon. I am sure you can work this out. It might push your date back. However, you can get it done. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

[emoji41] I hear you. "Cheating" is often a response giving by others have their own issues with weight/body image. I always attack back and educate. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

I hate the "cheating" thing. That usually comes from someone who is jealous or just a butt in general. Tell them the only thing you cheated was death. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
