I was sleeved October 10. I’m right at 5 months out and I’m 87 pounds down! Started off at 267 and I’m now 180. I feel great! I have noticed the scale nots moving so I quit weighing myself. I will weigh again next month! It’s been a great journey so far. Praying for everyone -

Trouble getting my protein

Yes it's great. There are few different kinds. But this one my whole family will drinks. So I don't have to buy different milk for everyone. The chocolate is really good too. But I prefer to use sugar free Hershey syrup in the white milk. That way I can just add a touch of chocolate to it. It has helped me get my protein in. -

Trouble getting my protein
chrissy43 replied to dmath's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 8 weeks out and I've been able to eat 4 shrimp at a time. It's nice to eat food again. I haven't tried any meats yet. I'm thinking I may try to stay away from meats as long as possible. Have you tried peanut butter? I started buying protein fat free milk and that's been great. I add a little chocolate syrup to it and I like that better then protein shakes. I drink about 40 grams of protein a day with that. -

Hi everyone. I was sleeved on 10/10. I had a follow up appointment yesterday and I'm down 37 pounds from surgery date. I feel amazing. I'm can't drink my protein shakes because they are all so sweet. But I'm drinking high protein milk and eating fat free refried beans along with lots of fat free cottage cheese. This has been the best decision of my life. I hope all you October Sleevers are seeing some positive change!! -

Okay thank you. I was thinking it could have been from pants I wore while on my walk. I felt like they were maybe rubbing on them some. I didn't know if I should bother my surgeon today about it or not. -

I was sleeved on 10/10 and got home last night. I had a problem with oxygen when I walked. So they sent me home with some for walking and some oxycodone So for so good. My dr had a wishbone showering my stomach on the inside and it was empty this morning so I just pulled it out. No pain yet. Feeling great.
