    Feeling deflated

My surgery was 12 .26.17 I too have ran into a 3 week stall. Our body's are adjusting to our new tiny tummy. I found myself feeling down lately, but I think my hormone levels need to level out. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Late December Sleevers?

Vsg 12.26.17 Jello a little at a time seems to be ok with me. I drink one premier protein shacks that has 30gm of protein that is tough. And at least 20-25 oz of water. It's about 40oz of liquid a day. Gas pain and hick ups. The gas pain is becoming less, but is still lingering. Has anyone been experiencing hick ups? I've had them for a while they come and go. They sucks! Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  5. Ohhh boy I just finished my pre op liquid diet and it was tough. Specially threw the holidays. Take it one day at a time. I did a 14 day liquid diet and lost 8 lbs. I had my surgery the day after christmas and I'm now back on liquid diet for 3 weeks. Stay strong and don't cheat if you can, this is all for the better. Anyone dealing with SAD?

I'm having the same problem. Lets blame it on the weather. Ha ha. I have found myself in a funk and haven't worked out in two weeks but today i taking my butt to the gym today! I gotta shake this feeling and working out make me feel good, so back to the gym i must go. But cuddling in bed sounds soooooo good right about now. Fight the feeling, this will pass soon1

    Pre-op Weight Loss

YESSS. The struggle is real! It's more of a mental thing for me. I think like ohh you wont have this for a while after surgery eat it now. But Then i think Damn how much time at the gym is this going to take me to get off. Since I'm so close to surgery date it seems like these feeling are coming strong. I just have to keep telling myself this is the process to a better you, So don't mess this up for you!
  11. Long term goals are great, But make sure they are realistic to your lifestyle. Do you work out on a regular basis? Are you making good choices when you eat. The surgery itself will have you losing weight but to get to you long term goal you have to put in the extra work and dedication. I've given myself many goals. 1st Goal - Get under 200lb 2nd Goal- 165-175 Ultimate goal 143 This is the way I feel what the surgery will do for me : This surgery will help me get close to my goal weight so I can then continue a healthy lifestyle and maintain my weight. Once i get close i have to buckle down and manage my weight. I'm giving myself a 10lb fluctuation grace. Once I'm at or around goal weight I will not let myself gain any more then 10 lbs.

    Pre-op Weight Loss

I have been on a low carb high protein life style. I have been going to the gym at least 3-4 a week and about 35- 55 min each time. I will have to say getting yourself mentally ready is probably the best thing we can do Pryor to surgery. I figure if I practice eating high protein now it wont be a big deal after surgery. I started at 280 and I'm now down to 254 and hoping to lose more during my two week liquid diet. They put me on a two week liquid diet to shrink my liver.

November 20th- same week as you!
  14. Hello there, I had a question for any sleevers ... Has anyone continue to use marijuana? I have a medical card and also live in California where it is legal to use for recreational use. Does anyone know if they test you right before surgery for nicotine or marijuana? I'm about 4 weeks from surgery and thinking about quitting. Just enough time to have it out of my system. I have been smoking for 15+ years, this may be hard but completely worth it in the end! Has anyone stopped Pryor to surgery and started back up after. If so how long did you wait to smoke again?
